Lemme guess.... “All this can be yours for only $19.95!!!” ?

We can go a long way toward that design if you can devise a handle with a fishtank component where you can FEED the critter.
I'm going to name my new living sword "Bowser" ~

And you’d have to keep giving the critter something to chew upon, lest you open your kitchen drawer and find a monster overgrown knife in there some day.

...after the formation of the Oceans several billions of years ago just all sorts of things had to fall out of hyperspace ~ and still be here. Remember, spacefaring humanity is going to take living repair kits and parts making tools with them ~
That is one of the most profound statements I've ever read on this website. Just beautifully said.

Swordfish could lead to sabers that never need rattling

MMmmm...Sea Urchin!
It's what's for dinner!
To: the invisib1e hand
I shall remain skeptical until such time as I witness one of these knives gut, skin, and process a wild boar hog while retaining a razor-sharp edge.

I’m 70....haven’t had a real cutting problem since I could handle a knife...In fact, kids are now taking them away from me.
To: piytar
Sharpening knives on a sanding block was a big deal at our house. It was just cool.

You can probably train a sea urchin to do the whole job.
Maybe even to bag the whole hog for ya.
