The Wall Street Journal article was the first place I saw this. I thought it was stunning, particularly when you see how the outgoing State Dept person warned the new Bambi regime about Zelaya, not only as being bad news from a political point of view, but as being a common criminal and having high-level criminal associates.
The outgoing State Dept person would not even share information on US drug interdiction and anti-money laundering activities with Zelaya because he was afraid that US and Honduran agents would be offed by Zelaya’s criminal associates.
Just the type of guy Obama loves, of course.

Had not seen it. But I know a lot about Mr. Micheletti(”the one with the balls” as he was called in spanish), who was the president of their Congress before assuming the Presidency replacing “Mel” Zelaya.

They have to understand it, and I'll assert they do understand it, the better to cicumvent and destroy it. They knew the facts, the 'press' knew them too. Any third-grader could easily get the straight dope on the Honduran scene as well. Our government is a leftist, collectivist, mob-supported cabal. They alone get to define 'good relations' in Latin America. And like in the Carter days, their definition of 'good relations' includes 'support communists', by whatever means they can get away with.

Amen...even a rudimentary understanding of the English language translated from the Spanish of the Honduran Constitution would lead one to conclude that the Hondurans went by their rules explicitly. For the US Government to bring suffering to so many poor Hondurans during their battle for what was and is right is a shame and disgrace on our Country. Where are the RINOs and the Conservatives, and even the Demoncrats to denounce this travesty? Crickets....

The “fill-in Pres” would have been Roberto Michiletti, the Head of the Congress,who acceded to the Presidency (temporarily) when Zelaya was law fully removed.

The Constitution is utterly clear, the Supreme Court voted 15-0 that he had usurped powers that were not his, the Congress agreed, 123-5, Zelaya was ordered to step down,he refused, the Supreme Court requested the military remove him, THEN they acted.
Only an idiot would call this a “military coup d’etat.”
I wasn’t on the ping list but posted in enough of the articles you and whoever else posted links. It was as clear as day he was doing the wrong thing and Zayala wasplaying it up and MSM was eating it all up. It was sickening then and even more sick now that a few reporters actually woke the foxtrot up.
The MSM still is in love with Castro. What in the hell do you expect? It isn’t a question of stupidity. It’s a matter of treachery and deceit.
