President Barack Obama, addressing a tribal nations conference at the White House last week, announded that the U.S. government is now supporting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People, which includes a sweeping declaration that "indigenous peoples" have a right to lands and resources they traditionally occupied or "otherwise used."
"Indigenous peoples have the right to the lands, territories and resources which they have traditionally owned, occupied or otherwise used or acquired," says the U.N. resolution.
The Bush administration had declined to support the resolution.
At the White House Tribal Nations Conference, Obama reminded the group that last year he signed a resolution passed by Congress that “finally” recognizes “the sad and painful chapters in our shared history--a history too often marred by broken promises and grave injustices against the First Americans,” he said.
The president added that “no statement can undo the damage that was done,” but he said the resolution can “help reaffirm the principles that should guide our future.”

This statement means that, maybe, the USA will honor the Treaty of Fort Laramie and will give back unused lands to the original tribe that lived there.
Considering that the Europeans (White Man) selected places where it was easy to set up and live, that means that almost all of these places had people already there. So if he means it, most cities will be turned over.

It would appear so.
I was driving up highway 95 north of Las Vegas last year and observed a string of wilting willow saplings every few miles on the road. There was no sign and it was obvious that someone had planted them. I talked to some locals in Tonopah (between Reno and Las Vegas) about it and they told me the local indian tribe (name forgotten) had planted the trees in a ceremony designed to return the "stolen" land back to them. The "stolen" land in question is the Nevada Test Site.
The Kenyan may want to set an example and hand the Test Site (millions of acres of federal land) over to the indigenous folks there in southern Nevada.

Actually , research has shown that at one time (12-15 thousand years ago) America was populated by whites. White Americans didn’t steal land from the Indians, merely recovering stolen property!.
Native’s battles/wars over control of hunting grounds is not murder or slaughter; it’s survival of the fittest.
On the other hand when our government handed Natives free blankets tainted with small pox to eradicate thousands of men, woman and children, that is murder/slaughter… more like genocide.
