Saturday night, December 18, 2010, Jim floated the idea of forming a political action committe to organize an effort to defeat the RINOs in the upcoming 2012 and 2014 Congressional elections.

"Yup, I do believe it’s time. We need to organize an anti-RINO PAC and get it going in all 57 states to support and elect True God and Country Conservatives™. We can do it!! FReeperPAC is born!"

Many FReepers expressed interest in helping with the PAC, posted research/resources, made relevant suggestions, offered advice, etc. It's time to move that effort to its own thread.

Dear Mr JerseyHighlander:

FYI Free Republic is NOT a 501c. It’s an LLC. FR’s income flows to and the income taxes are paid by the LLC members on our personal tax returns, namely, my wife and I, our sons John and Chris and our long term friend and business partner Amy and her husband.

Our RLC forum is NOT an official forum for any Republican Libertarian Caucus. It is of our own doing. Libertarians are welcome here to the point that they agree with our causes. When and if they become hostile to God, Family, Country, Life and Liberty their accounts here will be summarily dismissed at the convenience of our site administrators. Free Republic is not and has never been part of any RLC PAC or any other PAC whatsoever.

Our membership may be diverse to a degree, but Free Republic’s official viewpoint is pro-God, pro-Family, pro-America, pro-Life and pro-Liberty. I would hope that all members of our PAC, should we form one, are like-minded. If they have any questions whatsoever about our religious or pro-life, pro-family bias, they should avoid us like the plague. We are definitely biased toward God, Family, Country, Life and Liberty! Anyone who can’t handle that fact is on the wrong web site.

And our goal will be to elect like-minded God, Family, Country, Life and Liberty conservatives to office in every state of the union!

Are you sure about that? We would lose a lot of the libertarians that are very involved in Free Republic. It is only an idea, but the issues that seem to be universal are the attacks on our constitution, banking system, medical system, and military. One might even get a fight on the banking system from some quarters.

Isn't the number one job of conservatives at this moment to force the repeal of Obamacare?

No, that is not the correct approach.

Much like Reagan did, we need to attack on all sides, not just a focused one because we are afraid of alienating a group of people.

Remember Reagan's Three-Legged stool analogy?

1. Fiscal conservatism based on limited government.
2. Moral conservatism.
3. Support for the National Defense and a Strong Military.

Take out one leg and the stool is useless.

Furthermore, the purpose of this site is, as stated by Jim Robinson, as follows:

Jim, you are truly Santa Claus, giving us not only the gift of the best forum on the net, but by reminding us by your commentary that compromise is not and can never be a part of a true American Patriot's life.

ACW, don't know if you saw my post (251 on this thread) but you did an excellent job of pointing to the greatest weakness of conservatism - too much talk, too little real action where - and HOW it would count most.

The greatest weakness is ignorance of the political process passed on to us by our forefathers. We have to OWN that process - but, we don't even come close - yet...

We have a lot of people that are as green as gourds - but very much want to be a part of this RINO-killing project.

So we're going to find ways to train those who 'sign up' to get out there and do the things that you, I, and many others here have done successfully. I think we can and will be quite successful - simply because a great many people have finally woke up - and WANT TO DO SOMETHING!

Soon we can all say HELLO to the greatest RINO-killing movement ever put together.
