Liberal online political magazine Salon.com published a letter to the editor yesterday that called for the murder of 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
The letter was written in response to a mocking article at Salon titled, Good Morning America's painfully friendly interview with Sarah Palin by Alex Pareene.
Pareene snarkily sums up the GMA interview, "The interview was basically split into a couple of distinct sections: How awesome is your family, how bad is Barack Obama, how awful are people who criticize you, and how awesome is America?"
The first letter published in response to the article calls for Palin to be electrocuted by a cattle prod by convicted dog abuser Michael Vick, "Vick gets a pet to torture and we get rid of Palin. A win-win for everyone!"
That letter has apparently sat in the pole position under the article in the Letters to the Editor section since it was posted "Friday, December 17, 2010 12:33 PM ET."
The Letters section for the GMA article lists 65 letters published over four pages. Each letter has a "flag" button to call attention to Salon editors about objectionable comments. It seems no one at Salon finds it objectionable for the site to publish an explicit call for murder.
Salon's Editor in Chief, Joan Walsh, is a regular on MSNBC and CNN. Will Chris Matthews, Joe Scarborough or Wolf Blitzer attack Walsh for prominently publishing a call for the murder of Sarah Palin? Will Walsh do the right thing and publicly apologize to Palin and pull the letter?

" I Have An Idea"
" Let's let Michael Vick keep Sarah Palin as a pet instead of a dog. It will be safer for dogs and maybe we'll get the satisfaction of having Vick electrocute Palin! You know that after listening to that voice for longer than 30-seconds Vick would be lunging for the cattle prods.
"Vick gets a pet to torture and we get rid of Palin. A win-win for everyone!"

The interview was basically split into a couple of distinct sections:edited and non edited guess what one you saw?.
These “people” are not even human, they are lower than cockroaches. Behind their computer screens, making threats. In person, they would probably run away and hide behind their mommies skirts. They are COWARDS. The FBI should be investigating any threat made against Sarah Palin. Even if she were not famous, making a threat like that against anyone deserves an investigation by the police. These subhumans need to be investigated for what they are, vermin
My husband just asked... “Whats Salon.com? Some gay website or something?” I was like, uh well..... they kinda lean that way.
Really, just because they are gay doesn’t give them the excuse to advocate torture and murder, but it does show just how two-faced and honestly evil they are.
Salon...sounds like a place where lefties with nothing to do set around and try to come up with something for someone else to do.
Or ‘Salon Mental Hospital’ for leftist only of course?
Regarding Salon, I guess even the deranged need their own web site.
I can't either, but instead of self-loathing, she fills me with pride, patriotism, admiration and yes, love. (Take that, FR PDS'ers.) She is one classy dame I would like to be more like. Sounds strange, 'cause I'm a dude, but that woman has more courage than most men who have cojones.

It is hatred, but I agree about the headline. Not commenting on Palin here, just saying let’s keep our criticism of the Palin haters accurate.
“Think General Sherman in Georgia...”
It’s going to come to that, or worse. ?
Forced to watch Lary King re-runs?
“I would hope that the SS and FBI both pay him a visit.”
The SS & FBI have mostly ignored threats made against conservatives...
Guys, I’m a Michelle Bachman fan, not a Palin fan, so maybe I have more of an open mind on this.
In all fairness to this hateful liberal swine that posted that mean comment, it can not be construed to be a “death threat” against Palin.
Rather, he’s speaking in hypothetical terms and basically saying that he would be satisfied if somehow Palin were electrocuted:
“It will be safer for dogs and maybe we’ll get the satisfaction of having Vick electrocute Palin!”
He’s saying he would be “satisfied” if Palin were substituted for the dogs in an electrocution. That’s a lot different from saying, “I’m going to take out so-and-so next week.”
At the same time, he may be someone to investigate, but it’s not a death threat.
I’d suggest you substitute the name Obama instead of Palin in the same sentence and truthfully ask yourself if you would construe it to be a death threat. I think you probably wouldn’t think so.
I have friends who have said they dislike President Narcissus so much that they could care less (wouldn’t be sad one bit) mind if Air Force One crashed and President Obutthole perished. Does that make them assassins? No.
It's fascinating to observe this. I have friends and relatives that go ape at the very mention of Sarah's name.
Their reaction is the same as what you'd expect if an exorcist held a crucifix against the forehead of a demon-possessed person.
This is just another good example of the “compassionate” and “tolerant” inclinations of the left...
Exactly. Just as they claim free speech with one hand while the other hand is trying to take it away.
ROTFLMAO!
Well, zippy does have quite a set of “handles” on his head!
