Quick thinking and a cool head!
Alyssa Gutierrez bravely defended her home and her life with her Mom's rifle. She was not going to end up, if she could help it, another victim of criminal violence. She first tried to hide from the criminal intruders, but when they discovered her, she ran quickly to a bedroom and retrieved her Mom's little pink single shot bolt action 22 caliber rifle to defend her home and life.
Glad to oblige. Mrs jimfree is a 59 y/o girly girl. I found the pink computer and case for her. Thought it might be just the right thing. A pink rifle is a step beyond but we shall see.
You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lib’s didn’t critize the mother for not having the rifle locked up so the girl couldn’t get to it.
Destined for interned greatness.
Should be internet, not interned.... arghh...
so im assuming NM is an open carry state?
It is.
She loves it!
I’m looking for the equivalent sized rifle in airsoft for some initial training.
A .22 doesn’t work so well in the basement... :)
LOL!! I would think not!
“Quick as a wink, you’re in the Pink”
It is!
I hope to challenge some of the ‘laws’ that there are here fairly soon, like this one:
http://www.conwaygreene.com/nmsu/lpext.dll?f=FifLink&t=document-frame.htm&l=query&iid=6c1804dd.55b72e94.0.0&q=%5BGroup%20%2730-7-2.4%27%5D
or perhaps the authority/validity of the “no weapons” signs on city- and county-courthouses.
single shot no less.
SO is Virginia where i currently reside. Thank God for that.
I lived in Texas most of my life and it’s a shame it isnt an OC State.
Aquila Colibri ammo. .22 primer powered only. No gunpowder.
From a Ruger 10-22, all you hear is the “click” of the trigger & the hammer fall, then the bullet hit the target. I have a .22 cal bullet trap. I use it in the garage. Garage is only 16 ft. long. (10 x 16 single car)
Enough power to cause the 10/22 to cycle?
(It’s Aguila BTW, I just looked it up)

So then, because NM and TX have reciprocity with CCWs could I, say, take my PS-90 ‘concealed’ if it were wrapped up in a cloth or somesuch?
;)
When my granddaughter turned eleven, she received the Marlin/Glenfield tube fed .22 rifle I had refinished the stock on, the rifle her dad learned to shoot with. Her next rifle and a new pistol will be a bit higher caliber (9mm) and will be hers alone!
I already have a lever .38/,357 rifle for her, when her dad sees fit to allow her to practice with it. It even has the ‘Red Rider’ sadle ring!
