Quick thinking and a cool head!
Alyssa Gutierrez bravely defended her home and her life with her Mom's rifle. She was not going to end up, if she could help it, another victim of criminal violence. She first tried to hide from the criminal intruders, but when they discovered her, she ran quickly to a bedroom and retrieved her Mom's little pink single shot bolt action 22 caliber rifle to defend her home and life.

Cool. Sounds like I’m 5 yrs. behind the curve on teaching my daughter to shoot, she’s 16. Me, Mom has 3 guns, Dad, has none but I’ll let him borrow mine in an emergency. LOL

Reminds me of time I picked up on an interview with G. Gordon Liddy and (I believe) Don Imus.
Liddy was talking about different guns in his house and the questioner kind of slid in Liddy’s ‘felon status’, to which Liddy (kind of) replied..’Oh, no sir, I own absolutely NO guns, but Mrs Liddy has a handsome collections of them’.

Some local gun range needs to give that girl a set of lessons and range time with her mother’s permission of course. She is a brave girl and needs to be better prepared for next time.
