A part of my American Dream, that I litterally fought for life to maintain, is my pickup truck and the drives, experiences, and lessons it has supplied to me, my kids, and now my grandkids. I will not allow mettling socialists in Washington DC, or anywhere else to take it from me.

Yep...that’s the bumper replacement variety on my Chevy. When GM did the IPO and China and Saudi were the major purchasers...I traded my Chevy in and got that Ford. Within a few months it’ll be sporting a ranch hand too.

Ya know, it's things like this that you do that make you more "present". I tear up sometimes (HEY...don't call me a wuss! I didn't cry!) when I think of all of the FReepers I'll never get to meet in person and you're one FReeper that I've always wanted to meet.

That was simply super Jeff. All those grandbabies are so precious. Going with Granpa brings back lots of memories., only my trips with my “Papa” were made in a horsedrawn wagon. Sheesh, I’m old. I pray that you are continuing to do well.

I did! Have three of them, (pickups) and the only Grandson is in ID, go figure. I just realized, they are Red, White, and Blue.
