Are there ANY “Indians” alive today that suffered at the hands of the government? Same goes for Black people.

This racial handout garbage has to END sometime.

Go on you Indians! Go in there and demand to be treated equally like other Americans!

You might not want to mention the casinos and tobacco outlets though.

I’ve never understood why Indians are allowed to have casinos in states where Vegas style casino gambling is banned. Was that allowed as a form of affirmative action, by giving Indians a monopoly on one of man’s vices????

Easy to see that you have never been to a poor reservation in this life. And some of you wonder why most tribes, like mine, vote 97% Democrat. At least the Dems lie to them with promises of hope. Repubs just don't even think about them at all except to bitch about those evil “CASINOS” where they (whites) blow there money. It isn't Indians that are keeping the Casinos open. If you have been watching the news lately, like today, you must see that we are pissing away billions upon billions to junk pork deals and billions more to foreign countries that hate our guts. Look at it this way, at least the money going to the Indians is staying in this economy.

a poor reservation ... most tribes, like mine, vote 97% Democrat.

Have you considered the cause/ effect of this voluntary choice on their part?

I love the Indian Smoke Shops in Oklahoma, and do my part to keep them in business. It was obammy, though, who shut down the Indians’s online cigarette orders which has really hurt them, financially. Luckily, I live close enough to the OK border to go there and stock up............

I have been to various reservations and the casinos, tobacco shops and such are brilliant. Things like that are letting free enterprise solve problems locally instead of being dependent on Washington. While it can be argued that they are still a form of government subsidy, I look at these deals as similar to letting ranchers graze federal lands, timber companies use federal land and oil companies using federal land for profit. The government benefits from those deals and they stimulate the economy much in the same way encouraging business on Indian lands creates wealth. When the government assists people in using what is there and gives a hand up rather then a hand out it is always better.

I can’t understand why Indians don’t get off the damned reservation and start living like the rest of us do.
