Bill OReilly recently talked with frequent Fox News guest Charles Krauthammer to handicap potential GOP candidates chances in the 2012 presidential election. Krauthammer called Mitt Romney the front-runner and said Mike Huckabee has established himself as a major player but his most dissected comments will probably be his remarks on one Sarah Palin.
Krauthammer compared Palins problem to Hillary Clintons in the late 1990s strong support from her core base, virulent opposition from most others. OReilly asked if the level of opposition to Palin is the medias fault, and while Krauthammer said theyve contributed enormously and that the animus to her is unprecedented, he also allowed that she is not practiced in policy and that the infamous Katie Couric interview was not a gotcha interview. According to Krauthammer, Palins growth in mastering policy issues will shape her fate:
I think if you want to expand your base, you have to get into policy even though it sounds dull.

I adore Sarah, but I’m with you on the FB thing. Get an adult platform. Even her own website or blog would work for me. But FB? Puh-leez.
Wow. It took 116 posts for anyone to recognize what was going on.
LOL
Gotcha
Nice try, sweetie. Better luck next time.
Said Charles Krauthammer last night on Fox News,JULY, 8, 2009
Now, as to Palin, I agree entirely with what Mara said. She is she has star power without any doubt. She has an extremely devoted following. But she is not a serious candidate for the presidency.
She had to go home and study and spend a lot of time on issues in which she was not adept last year, and she hasn't. She has to stop speaking in clichés and platitudes. It won't work.
It could work for eight weeks if you're the number two candidate, as she was last year. But even so, she got singed a lot in that campaign. You cannot sustain a campaign of platitudes and clichés over a year and a half if you're running for the presidency.
I rest my case, counselor, Charles. You're a good guy most of the time, but you need to "study-up" on Sarah Palin. She's come a long way, baby, and you're unaware.
It's good to leave that Beltway now and then...lol.
ROTFLMAO!!!!
Refute what?
I have written nearly the same thing about a million times. Mostly after I read those push polls that Mutt Crummy as a decisive favorite.
Which of course he is more decidedly not.
Perhaps I misunderstood.
How was I supposed to infer that you have written the same thing as I did a million times from your post 172?
Facebook is the premier platform. She is able to reach millions.
Facebook is just not for kids. It’s where politics plays out, like it or not.
Still funny and I liked the way you put it.
If you lived with me you would know how much I despise the very same jerkoffs you despise.
Where exactly have these wannabe’s for the last two years?
Have they been explaining policy? Challenging Barry, Congress or skinning the latest hoofed animal they shot?
I have heard from Sarah for the last two years and zip from the other Cant-idates

He just repeats the same stuff over and over again. He’s boring. I rarely watch him. He is not a conservative in any meaningful sense.
The fact that she is a happy person with a great life does not make her stupid or un-serious any more than Krauthammer’s perpetually dour mood makes him a serious thinker. Certainly, Reagan was a perpetual optimist with a good sense of humor, which was often mistaken by his Establishment enemies (like Krauthammer and Kissinger and Nixon) for stupidity.
I have examined a lot of Kraut’s pompous pronouncements over the years and, when they are scrutinized, there is generally less there than meets the eye.
OK, Vendome, I think we finally got on the same page.
A few more words would have clarified your position to me and about my post. I can’t read minds-—yet.
Kraut doesn’t get it. The fact that the Brown Shirt Media hates her is WHY we love her!
Romney bots and libs have been pushing Huckaboob the last few weeks. They think he'll boob bait the Bubbas, splitting the conservative vote in the South, giving Mitt the nomination.
Kraut, a Mitt-bot, is a case in point.
I don’t pay as much attention to what CK says as I did in the past.
LOL
Pissant knows I’m okay with his rants. He’s a good guy and he has had some really good retorts, especially last month.
The good part is how much everyone joins in the beatdown and demonstrates Sarah’s positions.
It’s free advertising.
If you want someone to be irrelevant ignore them like the Roman gods and pretty soon know will even remember who they are.
So far all I see is a bunch of people with a rash screaming for help every time they hear Sarah Palin’s name and no one has thus far come up with a cure.
That’s okay. You’ve only been here 12 years, some people are faster and others.... /s LOL
It’s a joke.
Post on.
If you want someone to be irrelevant ignore them like the Roman gods and pretty soon “no one” will even remember who they are.
