If it’s good enough for Americans, it’s good enough for Indians (or anyone else).

The ruling class must never be subjected to the same indignities that the peasants must endure.

What’s outrageous is Hillary is exempt from the groping (I presume).

She better be damn well concerned. Diplomatic immunity is not something to take lightly. Dumb-asses at TSA think they can violate international treaties signed and ratified by US Congress! Guess what, the next time US Ambassador travels in India, he will have sweaty Indian palms up his behind. Let see how well that goes down with US govt and its people. TSA can shove its policy of ‘diplomats are not exempt’ with this big clueless behind. Because diplomatic immunity is a part of US law. Yes, it seems elitist to give diplomats a free pass through but there is a reason for this. Because its reciprocated by other countries as well. If TSA keeps up this crap for long and starts offending allies or hostile countries, guess what, US diplomats will start getting the same treatment in their countries of posting. Lets guess how many state dept officials want the diplomatic posting to China or Russia after one of theirs is ‘handled’ by TSA here!

Even at the height of the cold war the Soviets were never crazy enough to mess with diplomats. Especially the week after documents come out telling our diplomats to act as spies. This is just bureaucrats being bureaucrats and not considering the impact of the stupid rules they make.

Why is it unacceptable? If normal Americans have to be patted down even though they aren’t a threat, why should the Indian Ambassador not be treated the same?

I could give a rat’s a...(well - anyway) less about what the Indian or any other diplomat thinks about the TSA pat-downs!
These pat-downs are a violation of our 4th Amendment rights (at the VERY least) and a physical attack bordering along the lines of sexual assault (at the accurate description)!
I don’t care what anyone else thinks, but if we the “serfs” have to deal with these, then anyone and everyone who gets on the plane other than pilots and the flight crew should be required to go thru the same indignant treatment. Government officials, Hillary, anyone getting on a commercial flight! PERIOD!
Drop them for these elites, they better drop them for ALL of us!
