Obama didn’t give us any tax cuts, Joe. He simply chose not to commit political suicide for himself and every other Democrat in Congress.
Dopey Joe doesn't know what socialism is. Socialism has to do with government ownership and control of resources of production. So let's go through a little checklist:
1. Increase government ownership, control, and regulation of financial industry? CHECK
2. Increase government ownership, control, and regulation of automotive industry? CHECK
3. Increase government ownership, control, and regulation of healthcare industry? CHECK
4. Increase government ownership, control, and regulation of energy/oil industry? CHECK
Finally, as for tax cuts being wealth redistribution, allowing the earners of income to retain the same amount of their income as before rather than forcefully confiscating a higher amount of their income could only constitute income/wealth redistribution in a world where those earnings belong to the government in the first place. Therefore, the fact that Obama only relented and compromised to temporarily allow income earners to continue to retain the same percentage of their earnings as before, all while vowing to go after them later, means that he really does have a Socialistic viewpoint that those earnings belong to the government rather than to the people that earned them.
