No one can deny Sarah Palins charisma, common-sense approach to issues and media savvy, and few will deny she was an overall plus for the GOP this past election.
However, I find it rare in conservative and Tea Party circles for anyone to support her as the serious Republican presidential nominee in 2012, much less the winner. Conservatives are well aware of Palins shortcomings, yet the media seems to be rather blind to them at the moment. In fact, every time I turn on the TV, all I hear the mainstream talk about when it comes to 2012 nominees is that Palin is already the anointed savior.

Why are you assuming that the only alternative to Palin as nominee is a RINO?
I find your post totally uncalled for. And you talked about a Freeper by name without pinging him. That’s not nice.
She supported McCain during the primes.
>>Not this one. I CANNOT think of a single shortcoming. <<
Most of America thinks she is a ding-dong. She will probably never get out of the perception hole McCain dug for her.
And she has been inconsistent in some of her positions.
I also think that many in middle America find her to be too strident and a bit too much shooting from the hip without aiming her thoughts.
Again, this is what I think America thinks. No one will be more pleased than I if she overcomes her problems

First of all you gutless RINOs, who are these “conservatives” you keep alluding to without naming? I’m sick and tired of secret “conservative” sources.
Second Armstrong, blind media? Are you kidding me? I see attack after attack after attack on NBCCBSABCCNNMSNBCPBS. What “media” are you watching you tool?
I don’t know if Gov. Palin will actually run for President. I really don’t mind if she doesn’t, as long as we have a STRONGLY CONSEVATIVE candidate who can actually take the election. If she chooses to run, I will definitely support her. But if she decides against it, I am not going to stop supporting her. There is always 2016, and maybe she would be giving THAT election more consideration.
Look at the overwhelming Republican victory in last month’s election..especially at the state legislator level...look at the number of Dems who have seen the light and changed to the Rep party...why did this happen?
Absolutely!!
I think that was out of personal loyalty. It was McCain after all that introduced her to America.
That doesn’t mean she supports his positions on everything, in fact I know she doesn’t, but I believe she felt a debt of gratitude....that used to be a sign of character, but not anymore I guess.
Not everyone that Reagan supported or appointed was a rock ribbed conservative. This was understandable, and she bucked the establishment in other races - more than any of the other potential candidates did.
Pretty weak gruel there, my FRiend.
any conservative alternative to Palin would lose because they would have the same positions and values.
so you say when you want someone more electable you have to mean more liberal in some way shape or form.

The answer of course lies in your excellent tagline.
Wow. That makes no sense.
If you think Palin’s electability depends solely on her conservatives values and views, I can’t agree with your analysis of politics. It’s a little more complex than that.
what more or less does it depend on.
Are you?
No.
don’t get me wrong, I love Sarah and as a freeper once wrote, “Vote for, hell I want to marry her.”
