Armstrong Williams: Sarah Palin for president?
The Hill ^ | December 2, 2010 | Armstrong Williams

Posted on 12/03/2010 11:58:16 AM PST by EveningStar

No one can deny Sarah Palin’s charisma, common-sense approach to issues and media savvy, and few will deny she was an overall plus for the GOP this past election.

However, I find it rare in conservative and Tea Party circles for anyone to support her as the serious Republican presidential nominee in 2012, much less the winner. Conservatives are well aware of Palin’s shortcomings, yet the media seems to be rather blind to them at the moment. In fact, every time I turn on the TV, all I hear the mainstream talk about when it comes to 2012 nominees is that Palin is already the anointed savior.

Sarah Palin would be a good excuse NOT TO VOTE for a half-black flaming eye rolling drooling Marxist..

A Marxist doing everything in his power to kill jobs, raise taxes, and deny domestic energy production..
AND make America look like a Chinese Fire Drill with the Three Stooges in charge..

Even Forest Gump knows that evil is as evil does..

I more than understand the concern you and people like pissant have with Palin. The problem is that many of us here, myself included, simply detest that the left and their corrupt MSM journ-o-list handmaidens have concocted a meme that Palin is an amiable dunce.

All candidates have shortcomings, but every single Republican candidate is press-molded into the “idiot” template in an effort to indellibly stamp and terminally marginalize.

As you know, they did it to Reagan, they did it to Quayle, they did it George W Bush. It is their standard disgusting way of attempting to ruin somebody and we tired of the same old operating procedure. It is time to STOP.

Sure Palin has short-comings but that doesn’t mean she not qualified.

I think this post following the article nails it:

“It looks like Williams has caught a case of Palin Derangement Syndrome. If Palin wins the nomination, she’ll crush 0bama, for the simple reason that she will actually fight him tooth and nail. Any of the others, Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich, Christie, Pawlenty, will run a campaign very much like McCain, afraid to go after 0bama on anything for fear of being called a racist.

Palin hasn’t let any of the negative attacks on her slow her down a single step, every thing that has been thrown in her path, she has sidestepped, or leaped over, and has always moved forward.BY gah on 12/02/2010 at 11:21”

Columnists just want readers.

Palin is a hot button issue.

If this primary season is like the 2008 one, we should see some candidates forming exploration committees sometime after the first of the year.

I have learned it is pointless to point out what a disaster Mrs. Palin will be as a POTUS candidate — one ruinous to Conservatives across the board.

Goodness gracious, yes, because those who have been "deemed" qualified for office have done such a wonderful job. We definitely need to stay confined in that box.

“If Palin wins the nomination, she’ll crush 0bama, for the simple reason that she will actually fight him tooth and nail.”

#####

An excellent point.

And this type of courageous behavior will only serve as a multiplier, to further embolden the conservative rank and file.

Indeed, this has already been progressing, gloriously unchecked, since she exploded onto the scene in August, 2008.

Sarah would be an excellent POTUS.

But she may not be a good candidate.

Okay, what is he babbling about? That second paragraph bears absolutely no relation to reality.

They will either have to learn the hard way or perhaps Palin will surprise us in the end.

Armstrong Williams has proven himself to be a conservative. I’m sorry if his calling attention to the Hollywood theatrics of the Palin family has upset the DWTS fanatics.

Really? Seriously? If you don't like Sarah Palin, that's just fine, but you're a better FReeper than to try and push that kind of nonsense. It is beneath you.

How about that fifth paragraph? It could mean one thing but then again it could mean the opposite. On the other hand, maybe it’s the first one. Or not.

Except that it’s a lie. No mainstream media outlet is pushing Palin. They are doing every possible thing they can to stop it.

It is much easier for some to resort to personal attacks than to refute the substance of his argument. Unfortunately the left has no monopoly on this tactic.

Is there any question but that Palin is the frontrunner? And that anyone who supports anyone else at this point—whether an Establishment RINO, a favorite son from your home state, or whatever—is aiming his or her fire at Palin and solely at Palin?

It really is quite amazing.

I am supporting Sarah for the 2012 election run. Obama is a tragic failure. Time for someone like Sarah who has common sense and loves the truth. We need to restore America as one nation under God, not one slave pen under Obama the Islamo-Marxist-Chicago Mobster.
