Conservatives need to defund government spending on the arts and media, period. I don’t question the right of the “artist” to create the work or show it. I object to this all being done on the public dime. I love the arts! Hell I would rather go up to Chicago and see the Art Institute than go to a beach any day. Sooner or later though somebody is going to have to pull the public rug out from under the NEA.
