If the Times Square bomber had successful, would you be okay with TSA officers pulling people out of their cars at roadblocks and doing the same thing they are doing now? And fining them $11,000 for non-compliance?
For the record, I am opposed to what the TSA is doing. But I don’t want to make “me” the subject. I want to see how people respond. ;-)
Is that a yes or I no? (just asking for clarification)..
:-)
I’ll comment directly to whomever I choose, noob, or should I say troll? The last time I saw someone post a thread like this they were on their way to being zotted.
I’ll put myself on your “do not call list”.
Why are you afraid of the question? Incidentally, I have been a Freeper since 1998. I have attended many Freeper rallies, and personally met Jom Robinson three times. Wonderful person.
Again, why are you afraid of the question? I’ve stated for the record my position. Is it not a fair question?
To solve this problem we need a Civilian Defense Corps as well funded and as well armed as our military. Where did I hear this before?
Typo. s/b Jim. Attended the Crawford Texas Support The Troops rally with him and many Freepers.
To chime in, when I said I wouldn’t, that’s exactly where I think the Obama regime is taking us. No more freedom. Hello tyranny. Just thought I’d illustrate the next step i think these statists are going to take us. And it’s bad.
There are better ways.
I do not like it here or there. I do not like it anywhere.
I do not like it Sam I Am, I do not like your groping hand
There are better ways. What we have now is a solution ‘men of action’ as opposed to ‘men of thought’ would come up with. It’s the equivalent of ‘we’ve got to do something, we can’t just stand here’ - people who would throw gasoline on a fire because ‘we’ve got to throw something on it...’
I agree. I posed this question on another thread ( I am opposed to what the TSA is doing) and another Freeper dodged the question, saying it was an “apples and oranges” comparison.
That’s why (right or wrong) I asked it of any Freeper who cared to weigh in.
I have been a Freeper since 1998.

If we segregated security screenings by terminal, Extra security (2010 version) versus light security (1999 version), and prices and schedules were the same, I believe the overwhelming majority of people would go through light security. We would still be safer than in 2001 because now we know the bad guys are willing to take themselves out.
So, for the record, NO TO TSA.
BTTT!!!!
If I thought you were important enough to reply to, I would tell you.
But you aren’t so I won’t.
I say this is where we are headed if we do not stop it now. And these scanners may end up at the entrance of most public facilities.
But the sheeple do not mind...it is all about safety, doncha know?
I felt the shoe removal was a ridiculous step and a reverent sign towards those who want to kill us.
I stopped flying two years ago after my teenager was frisked for wearing a sweatshirt in December. Nothing as invasive as these patdowns, but unreasonable, none the less.
Well, no. Pulling people out of their cars would not work to stop more attacks.
Remember, NOTHING changed much after the first World Trade Center Bombing.
But then, the Admin tried to bury it. Many today don’t remember or never knew it happened.
And that was a quite successful bombing!
Fine dont then...
Meanwhile why do you think sexaul assault and porno screens at airports are OK ???
Have you ever read the Constitution of the United States ???
Dont you find the whole practice indecent ???
