Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) denounced the Bush family as "blue bloods" in an interview posted Wednesday and remarked that a mentality like theirs helped to cause the economic downturn.
Her comment came in response to a statement made by former first lady Barbara Bush during an interview with CNN's Larry King earlier this week. Asked for her take on Palin, Bush told King: "I think she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."
Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham followed up with Palin, asking if she thought Bush's comment had been planned ahead of time. Palin had this to say:

Sarah should keep out of this, it’s a trap.
Sara is sounding pretty thin skinned.
Best to let those coments go by the wayside rather than respond.
Awesome.
I’m getting tired of typing out GOP establishment so often...think I’ll swith to Blue Bloods, it fits so well!
Agreed x2.
Down with the Bush Dynasty!
Bushes sr. are also praising Romney.
“I think she’s very happy in Alaska, and I hope she’ll stay there.”
Why would she be offended by that? Bush is wishing her happiness.
Lighten up Sarah.
She has to stop responding to every-damn-thing.
Even though it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation, Sarah is better off letting them know that she WILL respond and that they will NOT be allowed to take pot shots at her indiscriminately without them being answered.
Sarah is a smart warrior. She wins. They lose.
She shouldn’t have said it, but it’s true. Every member of the Bush family, and all their friends should be in prison.
Yeah...just like GW Bush did....NOOOOOO...we are at WAR....and we are letting them know that the "people" will not stand for THEM CHOOSING our candidates....remember McCain?????
She shouldn’t have said it, but it’s true. Every member of the Bush family, and all their friends should be in prison.
I don't think her response (if you read the whole thing in context) sounded thin skinned. It just sounded honest. She said "with all due respect" and that she really likes the Bushes. I think one of the problems too many conservatives have is they always bend over and grab the ankles when being unfairly criticized. Well she doesn't do that and God bless her for that!
Does the Bush family really think Jeb has a hope in Hell in 2012?
Yup. She should emulate GW during his Presidency on this and not give stature to political attackers by responding. You know, stay above it all.
Oh, wait, that was a complete and utter disaster? A total unmitigated train wreck for which we’re still paying? Oh, hmm, maybe not the best idea.
Try “worst.”
She is speaking truth to power - not being thin skinned.
I think it’s fairly well understood that the Bushes are backing the Mitt.
Why shouldn’t she have said it? Don’t want to piss off the “Blue Bloods”?
