The Supreme Court conferred today on whether arguments should be heard on the merits of Kerchner v. Obama, a case challenging whether President Barack Obama is qualified to serve as president because he may not be a "natural-born citizen" as required by Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution.
Unlike other eligibility cases that have reached the Supreme Court, Kerchner vs. Obama focuses on the "Vattel theory," which argues that the writers of the Constitution believed the term "natural-born citizen" to mean a person born in the United States to parents who were both American citizens.

Answer me this. Both of my children were born overseas while I was stationed in Germany. Both my wife and I are US citizens, born in the US. Both of my children have birth certificates issued by the US State Department that are headed, “Record of the birth of a US Citizen born abroad.” Are they Natural Born Citizens?
The SCOTUS needs to tread very cautiously on these matters ... no doubt they take politics and timing into consideration ... as the adage goes, the long arm of the law does not move quickly ... and, as we can see, there are many Americans who have not given up on the eligibility matter. And now, while Obama is down, is the right time to connect with that punch to his solar plexus. Perhaps even blacks in the inner cities, weary of Obama and his inability to deliver them from their ills, will say, “what the heck” and not bother to riot for very long, should a court rule against him.

The 20th Amendment says in part:
if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.No one gets to be "President elect" until the Electoral College has voted and Congress has counted and certified the vote. So it's pretty obvious that this amendment concedes the possibility that Congress might certify someone who is not eligible.

There are several types of US Citizenship. Your children are described as statutory US citizens, i.e. they are U.S. Citizens by legislation written by the US Congress and signed into law by a US President.
Most legal scholars contend statutory US Citizens are Natural born citizens, but its debatable. For example, a statutory citizen born in Germany to US Citizen parents has the option to opt out of US Citizenship and choose to be recognized as a German.
The thought of a Natural born citizen opting out when he reaches the age of majority is contrary to very basis of the definition of a Natural born citizen. Even a naturalized citizen must renounce the citizenship of their home country before they can naturalize.
