Since airport security horror stories seem to be the prevalent news item at the moment, Eyeblast released this video Tuesday which shows Adam Savage speaking to an audience at an event called wOOtstock 2.0 in Seattle last May. Savage, of Mythbusters fame, claims that he accidentally passed through one of the new controversial full-body scanners carrying two “12-inch razor blades.”

The TSA scans are not about security. They aren’t really looking for your razor blades. The goal is simple — desensitize people to an intrusive government. Make people forget that they have rights and that government is supposed to be a very limited part of your life. That’s what this is about.
Obma passed ‘security clearance’, too.

That's what I'm wondering? I've never seen a razor that required a 12" blade. Maybe it's for Hagrid's razor.
I’m an old fart and I remember when barbers would take a straight razor that flips open and they would shave my neck hairs, I guess its a lost art.
Opened up it would be 12” long.
I am a fan of the Mythbusters but it soured me when I heard they allowed an impostor on their show, who knows maybe the will “Mythbust” Obama in the future?

So, am I to understand that by merely opting out of the naked scanner and then saying: “I do not like the grope” means you are now a “terrorist.”
