Tonight is the final chance for the three remaining contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" to impress the viewers at home.
As we've seen this season in particular, high scores from the judges may be nice. But, it's the viewers who matter because their votes can make an impact.
Going into tonight's season finale are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey & Bristol Palin.
Getting to this point wasn't always a smooth trip. There were some tense moments at the production office for "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC says a white powder in an envelope was delivered to the office this past Friday. It turned out to be talcum powder.
But, before they knew that, hazardous materials officials with the city of Los Angeles, fire department, police and FBI arrived at the studio lot where the ABC show airs.
This comes just days after the shock that viewers have put low-scorer Bristol Palin in the finals of "Dancing With the Stars," while voting off Brandy, who's had some of the highest scores from the judges.
Watch tonight's show at 8 p.m. and the results show Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ABC.

I think Max cost Brandy some points. It took them a couple of weeks before he didn’t terrify her; she did very well despite her discomfort with his teaching style. She had a little ballroom dancing experience from her “Cinderella” and general experience from her singing days. Perhaps the judges and producers set him straight on his hitting her in a less than affectionate/playful way.
I agree on all your points, particularly about the judges taking improvement into consideration. Jennifer has a musical theater father, ballet and ballroom training. The other two are doing very well indeed to get to the finals when up against such training and physical fitness.
I know that was mean...but it was kinda creepy to see her rubbing his head.
Did you have fun Bristol with the death threats? Oh, yeah.
Good God how come for ONCE Bristol can’t get one F’n 10!
The scores are pretty close...that would mean Bristol might win.

They are through with both dances.
She did very very well but still the judges could not squeeze out one ten for that girl the entire season.
If bristol wins i will run naked outside. Maybe...

I’d love to know how they actually “combine” the votes. It really tells us nothing to know they are done “50/50”.
I guess one way would be to take the phone votes and normalize them to 30; the problem with that is if there were 50 million votes, and 100,000 votes separated the three contestants, by the time you adjusted that to a 30-point scale, they’d all have 30 points.
Of course, it looks like they are all within a point or two from the judges last score, I wish I knew what the other scores were.
I would be shocked if Bristol won the trophy. According to Dialidol.com Jennifer had the most busy signals, which usually means that person wins. If Bristol gets 2nd place I will be thrilled!
Bristol robbed again. Her previous best was 27. If this was her best dance ever, like the judges all said, than that should have meant a score higher than 27.
Book signing commitments.

Is it just me that thinks it’s kinda creepy having Derek (25) have he hands on Jennifer’s (50) waist and hips?
