Governor Rick Scott of FL signed an override to Charlie Crist's veto of HB 1565 on November 17th.
This bill requires administrative agencies to obtain Legislative approval to any rule that costs over $1 million over five years! The enviro nazis have gone nuts. It essentially means almost EVERYTHING out of the administrative gulag will have to be approved by the representatives of the people.

Here is a link to an associated editorial from the St. Pete Times. It was written a week before Republican Governor Scott signed it into law. It impugns the character of the GOP dominated House and Senate and predicts assorted disasters. It means that hundreds of administrative rules will have to be examined and approved by the legislature. I leave it to economists and poli sci types to estimate how many jobs and how much prosperity we can expect from knee-capping the little dictators who harrass the productive people of Florida.
This bill has the potential to be a model for the nation. Would a majority of Congress vote for TSA groping? Would they approve EPA plans intended to shut down coal powered plants? Under this novel idea of reasserting Congressional powers to legislate, we could watch Obamacare and 99% of Marxist hopes evaporate.

Great. I hadn’t heard about this, but it seems to cut off the fascist bureaucracies at the knees. Next step - fire the fascists. Then seize all their ill-gotten booty and give it back to the taxpayers.

Export the Beuronazis to China.

I happened to hear state Senator Gaetz talk of it on a radio show I rarely listen to.
With Sebellius firing up the rules to implement National Socialist Healthcare, this is timely news.

I hope they neuter the Wildlife Commission. They have run amok under Bush and Crist.

How can Rick Scott sign anything if he’s not governor yet?! Crist is still governor until January.

I hear the climate is not too crazy hot in North FL, is that right? It's crazy hot in N. Fl, also. Just gets cooler in the winter time.

All of the petty despots, the true believers will have to explain, defend and find support for their wild eyed expensive and job killing schemes.
Next job: Booting Florida Supreme Court Judges.
