For the second time in two weeks, Japanese TV viewers have received very fair, unfiltered and actually rather complementary TV coverage and background reports on Sarah Palin and a possible run for the presidency; in the same vein, Obama has been subjected to unprecedented scrutiny and negative reporting. One such report which aired yesterday here in Tokyo referred to the November Midterms Election as essentially a National Vote of No Confidence Against the Obama Administration. 「オバマ大統領に対しての不信任決議」
If Todd eats whale blubber, that will be enough for most Japanese and they will welcome them with open arms. Not that phony metrosexual of a mulatto they just got rid of after APEC and Macha Tea, much to Japan’s relief.
Got it! Thanks very much!
Thanks, AiT.
I missed your ping (((STAR))) - Sarah’s Alaska had just started at the same time.
Thanks you so very much, AmericanInTokyo!! I have pinged Sarah List and they will see it in the morning.
It’s wonderful to learn about the two prime time TV specials. I am happy Sarah Palin is getting positive attention she deserves. Hopefully, Japan will see her as a strong candidate to replace the weak ally it has in the Marxist-Kenyan. As you know, she is serious and well qualified.
Thank you very much for letting us kow that the truth is being aired.
Thanks, AIT.
I sent this to a penpal in Yokohama...
.
Thanks for your effort AIT!

I look forward to reading the book. From the reviews, it would seem Hidaka-san is as concerned about isolationist or neo-con elements in the Tea Party as the rest of Japan, including Kan and his administration.
My expectation is that he would praise the U.S. for doing the heavy lifting to protect countries in the Asia Pacific region threatened by recent shows of Chinese military assertiveness. Wading into the shark infested waters of the South China Sea in a way that is practically unprecedented for this country and which signal a resolve to return as a dominating presence in that part of the world.
I wonder sometimes if Hillary is as confused as the rest of us are as to WHAT EXACTLY Mr. O wants, half of it makes no sense, it’s complicated. In much the same way that recent Japanese prime ministers have sent mixed signals bilaterally by being perceived as weak leaders unable to stand up to Washington...
Thank you for all your posts. They are one of my favorite things to read here on FR!!

More reason to get an “AmericanInTokyo” PING list going on FR, after all these years, wouldn’t you say? ;-)
The time to worry about Japan is when they launch an aircraft carrier for their Naval forces.
