Sarah Palin may not have the biggest fan in former first lady Barbara Bush.
"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush said. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."
Bush, along with her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, spoke to CNN's Larry King in an interview set to air Monday.

Hard to believe that Free Republic once had an entire running thread devoted to their worship.
Not at all - the same mental illness and disorder that we accuse Obama worshippers of inflicts those who worship the Bush Mafia.
No matter what evidence, no matter what actions or destruction, no matter how many insults or affronts, these fools keep wanting to believe and keep praying to these fools as demi-gods.
Pathetic that adults act this way towards politicians who most likely would not even hold the door for them if their life depended on it.
The article dates from just before the Internet as a mass phenomena and comprehensive electronic newspaper databases. I dug the article out on microfilm expecting to refute my cousin’s account — only to have his description confirmed.
I include those who call themselves conservatives while worshipping the Bush Mafia in the same light, useful idiots.
I do NOT have time to sit in front of my computer 24/7 or watch the boob-tube 24/7.... Babs or BS said these words alllll on her own. CNN/MSNBC/AP did NOT write it that is unless the old itch is using their teleprompter.
And when Bush was running...all the negatives...same as saying...stay in Texas!!
Babs Bush to Sarah Palin: “Back to fields, plebian!”
I think you've hit the nail on the head with that, sure fits the pattern. Meanwhile, I enjoy watching SP shoot, mush sled dogs, fish (both commercially and sport), hunt and be with her family. Very refreshing. Her speech pitch gets a bit edgy for me at times but heck, I can deal with that.
If push comes to shove, I had rather have an admitted full fledged Liberal than a Moderate.
Two reasons:1. The full fledged Liberal has the guts to make their convictions known.2. With the Liberal you know what you have and where you stand.
I know this is such a petty thing and reason, but this is like the final straw and tipping point for me.
Not only will I not vote for RINO Romney, I will never vote for another Establishment RINO again..
If Jeb Bush runs I will dedicate massive energy into defeating any of them...and I will support the Democrat against any of them. They need to be stamped out politically imo.
Did you watch the video? I thought that it was rather straightforward.
I’m very disappointed, but I’m not going to support a Democrat.
Actually, let me amend that. I feel betrayed.
“Stay out da bushes!”
Too bad the Bush Family did not stay in Connecticut.
That about sums it up, vaya con Jorges!
This . .from the guy who could take on Saddam Hussein but then rolled over and played dead for the target rich Clintons
Quite presumptuous for Mrs. Bush to assert where Sarah's happiness lies.
The establishment RINOs (ie, the Bush family) are positively apoplectic at the prospect of a real conservative movement (and President). They're in for a rude awakening. ...and it's about time.
