If push comes to shove, I had rather have an admitted full fledged Liberal than a Moderate.
Two reasons:1. The full fledged Liberal has the guts to make their convictions known.2. With the Liberal you know what you have and where you stand.
Republican moderates tend to be people who do not like conservatives for reasons that often less of political principle than of tone and culture and not wanting to differ wtih elite opinion.
