The numbers of Freepers who completely misunderstood the purpose of your post is quite frightening, although the fractured English in most of their responses leaves no doubt that they could not possibly comprehend what they were reading. I’ll bet that they all got smiley faces on their English papers throughout their schooling.
What was left of the old pathetic Demoncrat party got voted out in November. All that’s left now is the hard core Marxists and Commies calling themselves Demoncrats.

I grew up in a Navy family and with nothing but Navy and Marine families around me (on-base housing) for my first 12 years. Hell, I never really knew any civilian kids until I was in Junior High School ... but things were different then. But I believe that the same broad base of conservative and a lot of real honest to God Americans (and a lot of us Southron types) are still the biggest majority. I’d be pretty surprised to find less than a 65% - 70% conservative or at least right-leaning base.
Just an opinion. I haven’t seen any reliable poll numbers because they would be pretty all over the place, I think.

But to your knowledge there aren't illegal aliens serving in the military, right? I mean, maybe green card holders but there is still some screening going on I trust? My guess is yes but I don't have a source other than FR to ask...
They want to pass this now because in 2 years it will be the hot issue as we will still be suffering from high unemployment and Obama knows there’s no winning for him or the rest of his progressives without a batch of new voters.
Our side needs to move an amendment including border security and enforcement provisions along with one crucial part—a provision to prevent any relative of a DREAM Act beneficiary, who has ever violated federal law, including immigration laws, or been convicted of any state felony, from ever being qualified for any family-reunification track to a Green Card or citizenship.

If the amendment passes, then it’s really about not visiting the crimes of parents on their children, and our side can vote for it—as amended. If it fails, it proves the ‘Rats are trying for a rolling amnesty-with-a-track-to-citizenship for all illegals (as most here suspect) and it has to be stopped with a filibuster.

Zero will probably get the Dream act passed because the majority of Americans oppose it and Congress has decided they don't work for us.

I'm not so sure. Congress ignores million man (et al) marches, Tea Party gatherings and acrimonious "Townhall" meetings.
They may find it harder to ignore the overthrow of this rotten, corrupt government and a "reset" to the Constitution our Founders gave us. America is fed up and the talk of what the Lame Duck session may do is only adding fuel to the fire.
