I guess, now that you mention it, it is!
It’s typical that we have more requests than we have money to go around...I wish it wasn’t so.

I think everyone is so strapped these days that there are always more requests than can be covered. It’s that way up here all the time so we go out and bang the drum louder!

Pinging my list for a serious prayer request - my wife's brother's wife has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and had to have a tumor removed from her brain this past week. Her name is Betty. Please pray for her, and her husband, Bob.

Secondly, I am requesting prayers for an 11 week old female yellow lab puppy who was bought from me by a teacher who works in the same school district I work in. Wednesday morning this puppy (named Serena) was found to be very ill - vomiting, refusing to eat, unstable on her feet. She has been at the Veterinarian hospital for two days, very weak and seriously dehydrated. The Veterinarian is not sure what the cause is, but believes she may have eaten something toxic. I ask for prayer for this puppy because she is a very special dog to my family, and to her new owner (I really didn't want to give her up, but we just could not afford to keep her).

Update on my son in the Army: His wife is apparently now expecting their third child (they have twin sons who are nearly a year old - just what they didn't need, another baby). My son deploys to Afghanistan in April - he will not be home when the baby is due (July).

Thank you all for your prayers.
