There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC to say to FOX and to MSNBC: "Out. Off. End. Goodbye." It would be a big favor to political discourse; our ability to do our work here in Congress, and to the American people, to be able to talk with each other and have some faith in their government and more importantly, in their future.

Scary!
Democrats oppose the Bill of Rights.
Why is this news? Who gives a fluff what that guy says.
I suggest he see a specialist to get rid of that bug. It appears to be malignant and should be dealt with posthaste.
Jerk.
Is this the Go-Sign? I’m waiting for the Go-Sign. Is this it?
When does this arrogant moron come up for re-election?
Arrogance and money seem to have no bounds.
Yeah that’s a fair tradeoff, Jay. The most powerful television voice of truth vs. one of the many pipsqueak loony left psychobabble government propaganda outlets with no viewership. Get real, Skippy.
Is there somewhere to go to ask that Jay Rockefeller go: “Out. Off. End. Goodbye.” ?
Here is an interesting liberal viewpoint....notice how afraid of Fox news the liberals are....this relates to ending the Bush tax cuts.
“The point again after 8 years of this special give away to super wealthy guess how many jobs were created in 8 years guess the truth is only 8 MILLION JOBS LOST IS A FACT. Why cant you blinded by fox people see You are programmed by fox repeat repeat if your smart you can see thru it. Niixon days rich were taxed at 70 percent, the discussion now is from 33% to 36%...Borrowing 700 billion to give away to the rich is insanE and wont create one job. Obambam wants to keep the tax cut fore all under 250...that is the point you are blinded to miss somehow (i do like spirited debate) but fact dont lie fox only lies,,,to think all news is equal shows ignorance to facts,, really how many jobs,,,where s the jobs repubs,,,oops they only care about billionares again always and only,,,keep your head in the sand of insanity of fixfox and give up on intellect”
This is where statist totalitarians like John D. Rockefeller IV always end up going when their leftwing utopian fantasies don’t work in the real world. Squash dissent using government power by whatever means are deemed necessary.
You notice the source of his complaint? It’s the pressure that being applied to Congress.
They’re on the run. Redouble the rate of fire.
Confirmation of Lord Acton’s dictum...
Hahahahaha.
LOL! NO Go.
Jay, you have the right to remain silent...
It is every Rockefellers hereditary right to silence any media organization in this country and throughout the world that intercedes upon their natural born right to repress the American serf classes.
Why is this news?
VP Gov Nelson Rockefeller in New York used to send out State and county police to arrest students protesting the Rockefeller drug laws on university campuses regularly.
John D. 3rd. invested huge sums to propagate ethnic genocide campaigns masquerading as scientific family planning strategies through the Population Council.
That pesky First Amendment is SUCH a thorn in our sides.
Is he kidding? So we need LESS discourse and discussion so congress can go about its business? How chilling is that!! What is it that the senator wants to do that public discourse is preventing? Yeah lets just have government “pre-packaged slimmed down choices.” so that pesky public won’t question what their overlords are doing for their benefit. Why didn’t the founders think of that when they put in that 1st amendment.
He’s just bitter because his great-grandfather only left him $133,000,000. John D. the First was worth more than $600,000,000,000 in current dollars, but he gave most of it away, leaving his heirs to grovel in near poverty.
That being said, the government should have zero authority to regulate any content that is on any privately owned television.
