AUSTIN – A state representative on Tuesday filed a bill that would require any candidate for president and vice president of the United States to show his or her birth certificate to the Texas Secretary of State, another indication of just how ambitious the conservative agenda for next year’s session of the Texas Legislature is going to be.
“This bill is necessary because we have a president whom the American people don’t know whether he was born in Kenya or some other place,” Rep. Leo Berman said in reference to President Barack Obama and of his House Bill 295. “If you are running for president or vice president, you’ve got to show here in Texas that you were born in the United States and the birth certificate is your proof.”
Berman, R-Tyler, who in previous sessions introduced legislation aimed at stopping illegal immigration in Texas only to see it killed in committees, also filed bills that would make English the official language in the Lone Star State and other legislation that would crack down on illegal immigrants.

The reluctance of legislators to take up this kind of bill is a strong indication that the powers that be know that Obama couldn’t do this...
On December 6th, Obama’s closest political ally in Hawai’i, Democrat Neil Abercrombie becomes Governor of Hawai’i. Does anybody really think that if Obama is required to produce a long form birth certificate, it won’t say exactly what Obama needs it to say after December 6th?
Hawai’i Republicans under Governor Lingle have been carrying Obama’s water on eligibility for years now. Think what the new Democrat administration will do.

Not just shown to Sec of State, but to the people of Texas. You don’t want the verification process left in the hands of one person.
“There is a small number of states that are critical to Obama reaching 270 electoral votes. If a similar bill passes in just one of them then he will not run in 2012.”
The likelihood of such bills passing in those (blue or blu-ish) states is less than zero.
Fearless prediction:
If the “birth certificate law” DOES get passed in Texas, and if Obama decides to run again in 2012, he will not establish ANY “campaign presence” in Texas, or in any of the other states that pass similar laws.
By “campaign presence” I mean any activity (beyond having his name placed on the ballot) that would legally establish his candidacy in the state of Texas.
If he does not exist as “a candidate” in Texas, then the law will have no effect upon him, because it applies ONLY to those seeking to appear on the Texas ballot.
It will be the same in any other “birth certificate states”. In those states, there will be no evidence that Obama is even running again.
The fact is, Obama won without those states to begin with. Why would he need them the second time around?

Every rule in the Law of Nations is law. No need for a 1758 translation. The 1833 edition is law and the US must abide by it. Chief Justice Waite..the law of nations is “imposed” on the US. It is superior to domestic law.
Israel should file a law suit against the United States based on the Law of Nations. We have an illegal President.

Snopes claims it was photoshopped . I would like to have them explain why someone would bother to Photoshop, in 2004, an article to say he was Kenyan born.
If you look at the source code of the page, it clearly states when it was archived:
