Napolitano asks fliers for patience on body scanners
The nations Homeland Security chief asked for air travelers cooperation and patience with full-body scanning and pat downs this holiday season amid a growing public backlash that the airport tactics are intrusive.
Each and every one of the security measures we implement serves an important goal, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano writes in a column for todays USA TODAY, which asks the public to be a partner in defending against terrorism.
Will the Dept. of Homeland Security drop the hammer on the unhappy U.S. population and go against the peoples wishes? Will we see some sort of fake terror attack to push these clearly unpopular naked body scanners?
According to the "logic" of the NAZI TSA/DHS, Napolitano, and Obama, a "suppository bomb" will me that all air travelers will be subjected to cavity searches, i.e.,:
9/11 hijackers = No sharp objects on planes.
(Attempted) Shoe bomber = shoes inspected before flights.
(Threat of) Liquid explosives = No liquids on flights.
(Attempted) Underwear bomber = Virtual strip search/groin groped before flights.
(Threat of) PETN/C4 in body cavities = Full body cavity search of all air travelers.
Enough of this crap! This government is out of control, and needs to be put in its place NOW.
Follow the money which exposes Elitist corruption and treason against the American people, in my opinion.
I think everyone should do something subversive but legal when going through such a body scan.
For example, use a couple of additional latex appendages in your pants. Yeah, you’ll get pulled out of line, but we’ve been told over and over again that a person’s sexual life is his own business. And if I want to fly with a few extra appendages in my pants, who is the TSA to say that I can’t?
Throughout history, male teens have sought to convince their female counterparts for “cooperation” and “patience” as they sought to grope their breasts and genital areas. Sounds like TSA has decided to elevate this to a “policy.”
Looks like Soros sold off all his shares recently.
He made his money and got out because he knew it would cause $#@! storm with the American people once the majority of airports had them installed and insisted passengers use them. The man isn’t stupid.
There is a TSA blog, but no one has left any comments. Should we change that? http://blog.tsa.gov/
Perfectly stated.
The road we are on leads to people being herded into cattle cars, deposited at a concentration camp where they are stripped of all clothing and human dignity, and eventually exterminated.
We've seen all of this before.
Thank you. We are becoming desensitized to what happens to us and our fellows in this blasted police state.
You want them to get you out of bed in the middle of the night? We are lucky they still let us chat here. And that’s because they know we have no power.
When it was Iraqi combantants, POW's, and "Ali Baba's" back in 2004 that got the treatment, hell wouldn't hold the Left's towering indignation.
Different deal now, huh? And Moslems are going to get an exemption?
