I don’t think this is necesaarily true. Emmit (?) Smith won, and he was like a huge tree out there stumping around. Did anyone cry foul or scream because football fans were voting for him? He** NO!

This is just friggin ridiculous. They asked her to dance on the show and she accepted. So, people can just deal with it, or shoot their tvs.

Yes, I’ve been on one of those boards, and the very liberal owner deleted my posts when I commented about their liberal heads exploding. She has done nothing but rail against Sarah and Bristol all season. Typical lib! Censorship. Yet, she allows the most foul language to be posted and also allows people to say what they will about Sarah and Bristol. But, when I throw it back at them, she can’t handle it. I loathe that woman anyway, and made my point.

Well I wouldn’t go quite that far. You made some good points. Nothing I can do about that. ;^)

Have a good afternoon!

>But probably to no avail, because on the last vote only the three judges get to vote.

And believe me, politics WILL play a part in that vote.

“According to a criminal complaint, Cowan’s wife called cops Monday evening to report that her husband had blasted the TV and was threatening to kill himself. Cowan, who had been drinking, became angry while watching Palin, 20, perform on the ABC program.

Janice Cowan told Dane County Sheriff’s Office deputies that she called 911 after her husband blasted the TV and then pointed the shotgun at her.”

Although PDS is present in some forms on FR, I believe this case is the first hugh and series attack that has been documented. I hope they stuned him real good with a beeber.

At the end Emmitt Smith did show some talent, not much, but at least he looked like he was really enjoying himself. He had an electric personality. Bless her heart that isn't true of Bristol----but beyond that, Emmit does not come from a politically charged family where almost as many people hate his mom as love her. I understand where you think you're going, but the situations are entirely different, IMO.

Perhaps the situations are different, but, in this politically charged atmosphere, I find it very immature for people to base their hatred for Bristol on her mother.

Of course, its the libs, who have to make everything political. The girl is on a tv show dancing, at their invitation, and trying her best. I doubt that you’d be smiling from ear to ear either if you had to live through what Bristol is obviously putting up with.

Sometimes, Americans are just plain stupid. Well, that’s a given since they elected zero as president.

When in the heck did I say I was trying to “garner wild support” for Palin?

You really have lost your mind over this.

I am going to say this one more time.....(please read and comprehend the words instead of putting words in my mouth)....

I voted for Bristol because I liked the way she danced on Monday. That is it. No agenda, no politics.

You really need to get over this. Find a hobby maybe.

Amen! I was talking to a woman today who was ranting and raving about how horrible Bristol and her mom are, and how she felt Sarah was behind all this. I just about came out of my skin, but I tried to explain as calmly as possible that it's not their fault, but that of the fan base, and if truth be known I'm not sure some of this is NOT fans, but libs trying to cause trouble. Whatever the root it seems to be working.

Bristol has been at the dead bottom or next to the bottom for seven weeks. Your explanation to me is that you liked the way she danced on Monday night.

Jennifer Gray got 60 points. Brandy got 57 points. Bristol got 54 points. So what garners your vote, the worst dancer? I mean that is your claim here.

Okay, you’re not doing this because you want to support Palin. You like lousy dancing and want the worst dancer to win.

I’ll take you at your word.

As for me needing to get a hobby, you’re the one that responded to me and is evidently shocked because I responded.

Perhaps you should get a hobby.

If she won because the majority of Americans voting truly believed she was worthy, then that’s great. But listening to the commentary here, you get the idea that there was a concerted effort to stuff the ballots for her.

I recognize that the judges gave her good scores, so I’m thinking they too thought she was good.

I guess we’ll see next week what happens.

Oh incidentally. Everyone saw the phony baloney angry look Jennifer Grey gave. No doubt in her mind she’s thinking...Yes!!!!!!!!

I’m wondering too, if the producers purposely put Bristol up against Brandy? In other words, why not have Jennifer vs Brandy? Instead, they rubbed the hurt in I think...and contrasted the ethnicity issue...

I’m thinking, Jennifer has got to dance, “The Time of My Life” as her last number....It’s the only way she’ll win this.

I'd like to think that what you say is true and from the heart. If so, maybe I'm becoming convinced that Bristol deserved to win.

But something, in fact many things bother me.

If the producers ulterior motive is to make Sara look bad in the eyes of Americans, things a beginning to make sense. Why for example, knowing that Brandy was going to lose, did they pair her up with Bristol? Why not pair her up with Kyle at the end? Instead there is a profound hatred for Bristol, as if she was the spoiler... If you go by the most improved, Bristol and Kyle are on top...If you go by best dancers...to begin with....Jennifer. Personally, I'd like to see Kyle win....then the angst will be at him... If Bristol wins, no one will ever give her, her due...

Bristol has been at the dead bottom of what? Judges points? Your opinion?

So what.

Obviously she isn’t in the bottom of the viewers opinions.

Why the HELL can’t you get it. WE ALL DON’T AGREE WITH YOUR ASSESSMENT OF HER DANCING.

I hated the way Brandy danced. She looked awkward to me.
Bristol is better.

Your opinion is not the be all end all. GET IT IN YOUR THICK SKULL.

YOUR OPINION IS NOT FACT. IT IS JUST AN OPINION.

I don’t base my opinion on DWTS on the judges numbers or your likes and dislikes.

If I used your reasoning I could say you like lousy dancing better than good dancing. I though Brandy wasn’t all that good so under your reasoning......You like bad dancing.

(it works both ways)

Maybe you should look up the word “subjective”.

And after you do......stop trying to shove your opinion down our throats.

You can have your opinion of good and bad dancing and so can I. Stop being a hypocrite.

Bristol has been at the dead bottom of what? Judges points? Your opinion?  So what.

She has been at the bottom of the judges roster for seven weeks.  Len Goodman has been a dancing judge for many years.  Carrie and Bruno have been around dancing for a decade or more.  The other professional dancers have been around dancing for ten to twenty years.  So you in your non-professional capacity dismiss their opinions and rely solely on your own.  How many years have you been a dancer, a teacher, or a judge of dancing?

Obviously she isn’t in the bottom of the viewers opinions.

You can pretend that you don't know why folks are voting for her, but the rest of us aren't going to play the fantasy game.  Read the comments on this thread.  Read the expressions of glee for having voted for someone to make the Leftist's heads spin.

Why the HELL can’t you get it. WE ALL DON’T AGREE WITH YOUR ASSESSMENT OF HER DANCING.

I don't care if you agree with me or not.  I'm not a professional.  I do however think it's nonsense to try to claim she's the best dancer in light of the judges opinions who are experts on dancing.

I hated the way Brandy danced. She looked awkward to me.  Bristol is better.

1. I don't care how you voted
2. I don't care if you think Brandy danced like Joe Nameth
3. It is however irrefutable who the better dancers over the last seven weeks were.
4. If you wish to claim you're votes for Bristol were because you think she was better than all seven other dancers that were voted off, you can twist in the wind out there almost by yourself in that opinion.

Your opinion is not the be all end all. GET IT IN YOUR THICK SKULL.

My opinion is not what you have to deal with.  You have to deal with the opinions of professionals that have been dancing and around dancing for decades.  Len Goodman has been dancing, teaching dance, or judging dancing for the last 47 years.  He's not there to trash good dancers and push bad dancers.  What would be the point, destroying his own credibility?

YOUR OPINION IS NOT FACT. IT IS JUST AN OPINION.

Once again, your desperation is showing.  You can keep trying desperately to tell yourself this is all about me, but it isn't.  Judging dancing is subjective, but when people who have been around dancing for close to fifty years say something, there really isn't any ambiguity to it.

I don’t base my opinion on DWTS on the judges numbers or your likes and dislikes.

That's what you say, but as ridiculous as your claims are, it's really hard to buy into that hogwash.  Perhaps you're that good of a liar to yourself.  You're not that good of a liar for me to buy into it.

If I used your reasoning I could say you like lousy dancing better than good dancing. I though Brandy wasn’t all that good so under your reasoning......You like bad dancing.  (it works both ways)

LOL, yep, this is all about me, the single person that is saying that Bristol wasn't as good as the others.  Keep telling yourself that.

Maybe you should look up the word “subjective”.

I have used the word correctly.  I can't help it if you aren't capable of grasping that reality.

And after you do......stop trying to shove your opinion down our throats.

Who is trying to shove an opinion down someone's elses throat here?  You disagree with the judges, the professional dancers, and most people who have observed what is taking place.  Outside of folks who wish to support Sarah Palin, not very many people are on Bristol's side here?  There's a real effort to get people to vote for Bristol.  I think that is a mistake and I have said so.  It's a reasonable take on the subject, and I don't demand you buy into it.  I do expect you to understand where I am coming from and remain rational on the subject.  It simply isn't rational to claim that Bristol is the better dancer, over the seven people who have been sent packing while she remained on the show.  You could make the case that some of them were worse, and I might agree on a case by case basis.  Some of those people were very accomplished.  Bristol was nowhere near as good and it's simply not rational to claim otherwise.

You can have your opinion of good and bad dancing and so can I. Stop being a hypocrite.

Once again, my opinion means nothing.  I am still entitled to it.  What you have to deal with is people who have been in the dancing field for upwards of 45 years or more.  Go ahead and lie to yourself.  If that's what you want to do, I'm all for it.

A hypocrite would be someone who tried to make the case that a poor dancer was the best dancer, and would try to tell someone else that they were not being fair for stating the obvious.
