Please tell me that female voters won’t fall for this.

About 20 years ago I worked in a grocery store as a meat cutter. The Union tried to unionize the store and they were successful. Cashiers were now to make close to a meat cutters wage. The result: store closed within 2 weeks of the vote. I know this is not a Union issue but it is the same kettle of fish.

I don’t see how this bill could possibly pass in the senate, because even in a lame-duck session they won’t be able to get 60 votes for it. This looks like more of a political maneuver to make Republicans vote against this bill so they can use it against the GOP in the 2012 election. I’m not too concerned about it, because by 2012 the American people will be so tired of this administration and the Dem-controlled senate screwing up our economy that they’re not going to care how anyone voted on this bill.

This is definitely a sop to the unions. This would force non-union businesses to raise their pay levels to union competitors levels.

People who come up with this crap ought to be taken out and beaten black and blue and told that if they ever came back, they would get ANOTHER beating. I have no tolerance for idiots.

The ultimate goal of feminazis, like the PUMAs which Freeperland love so much is for feminazis to dominate all aspects of life and make men who are not their lapdogs into mindless robot yes-men. I have called it the Vaginocracy.

Here is another thread about this:
Keep the Calls Coming! Tell your Senators to vote NO on the so-called Paycheck Fairness Act! Take Action! November 16, 2010
Vote is expected tomorrow, please call your Senators today and tomorrow! On Election Day, Americans spoke out against the radical liberal agenda in Washington, D.C. Voters demanded a Congress that will strengthen the economy and create more jobs.
But, the liberal left is still pandering to feminists and trial attorneys at the expense of American jobs by bringing the so-called Paycheck Fairness Act to a vote during the Lame Duck Session that begins Monday, November 15th.The Paycheck Fairness Act would stifle...

I sure as hell won't. I don't need a beaurocrat in Washington telling me what I'm "worth." I know what I'm worth, and if I don't like what I'm getting paid, I find another job.
I have two sons. I want my little men to have a decent world to grow up in, and a fair shot at making a big name for themselves. All this horsecr*p legislation is designed to kill their chances.
2012 can't come fast enough! More housecleaning to do!!

Heck, I had that with the woman I worked with! I say let the company determine the “worth” of an employee and their contribution to the success of the company. Where I work now there is no incentive as all are given a customary cost of living raise...which is ridiculous. Let people earn their raises...now that’s an incentive to perform!
