He’s doing the typical thing - thinks he needs to run to the middle.
In fact, in leftist states like MA, the middle-of-the-road Republicans get devoured first.

How quick he showed his desire to be in the inside club. These rino’s are not coy about it either. So I can imagine how the pressure is on for ‘no tea’.

No way in Hell I vote for this guy again. So you're going to vote for his democrat opponent next time? Or are you planning to move out of the People's Republic of Taxachussetts.

What do you expect out of Massachusetts?
Is honesty too much to ask? Im not sure who they are, said Brown. So if I'm to believe him, I'd, also, have to believe he lives in a cave.

Did you read the article versus the excerpt?
"...while theres a place certainly for the Tea Party and other groups in politics, when youre down there, youre trying to just get the country moving again, and thats the message Im bringing, Brown said.
Christen Varley, president of the Greater Boston Tea Party...said Brown even called to wish her a happy birthday nearly a month ago despite claims that hes keeping his distance from the Tea Party.

he doesnt pass your purity test,
Honesty is a character trait, not a purity test. If they lie at little things, IMO, who could trust him on anything.

Beware the scumbag liberal newsrooms trying to turn Republicans against each other so they can shoehorn their communist scumbags into seats like Brown’s. If Brown is an 80%-er or better in the seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy (D-Hell) I’m happy as a clam.
Anyway, nowhere in this column did I see Brown dissing the tea party movement.
To: earlJam
while theres a place certainly for the Tea Party and other groups in politics,
Well, how self righteous, 'we the people' have a place - says the elite.
wish her a happy birthday
LOL! He knows when the time comes, he'll need her help AGAIN.
despite claims that hes keeping his distance from the Tea Party.
Making a phone call proves he's not keeping his distance -. WOW! How easily some are impressed.

“...Its important to learn this lesson: There are no conservatives in MA...”
What a sad commentary on the state (colony) that gave us Lexington-Concord and the “Shot Heard ‘Round The World”.
We are worlds away from where we’re supposed to be.
Liberalism really is a cancer.

Hes doing the typical thing - thinks he needs to run to the middle. In fact, in leftist states like MA, the middle-of-the-road Republicans get devoured first. This has been proved over and over and over again. It is a basic truism. Yet politicians continue to cower from the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms as if those institutions aren't dying, as if those institutions still call all the shots.
It is ironic that those scumbag newsrooms still have whatever power they have left precisely BECAUSE some Republicans continue to run scared from them. But that phenomenom, too, is dying as Republicans wake up to the power of the 'new' media of talk radio and the internet.

Hey, McFly, Scott Brown is not claiming that he is keeping his distance from the Tea Party. The reporter is making that statement.
The bottom line is that he knows Tea Party leaders. He acknowledges that there is a place for them at the table. And he is also acknowledging that they are not the only ones at the table.
The only thing I am impressed about is that we have someone in Ted Kennedy’s seat who will vote with us 70 percent of the time, instead of ZERO percent of the time.
Not too hard to figure out if you try.

>>>>>No way in Hell I vote for this guy again. Glad to hear that. Brown was the darling of many FReepers back in January. All I can say is, I told you so.
Anyone who still thinks Brown is anything but a Rockefeller Republican, AKA. a liberal Republican, is either hallucinating or in a serious state of denial.

What core Republican principles has he voted against?
Mind you, I didn't say conservative or tea party principles, I said Republican.
He never ran as a conservative or tea party candidate so, considering the state he represents, it isn't surprising that he's not conservative.

There were many FReepers who were touting him as an actual Presidential candidate during the aftermath of his victory.
People like me who said the guy is not a conservative were bashed. Funny, but I don't see many FReepers talking about the “Scott Brown Republican” as presidential material these days.

Skippy, I didn't say he did - that was from the article not me! Not too hard to figure out if you try. Some things don't need to be said.
