Huffington Post is reporting that President Obama will accept across the board Bush tax cuts and will sign the bill when passed!

Yeah, it’s a hope and change thing - what he meant is not what his voters thought he meant. He’s a deceiver and will never change.
Bingo on the deceiver thing.
obama promised tax cuts for 95% of Americans. Then they issue targeted tax credits. Dims never cut taxes. They only issue tax credits that no one can qualify for then receid them shortly after.
The Bush tax rate reduction will expire at the end of the year by the laws that were passed in 01 and 03. In order for the tax rates to remain the same, it will take congressional legislation by the lame duck democrat controlled house and senate. Good luck on that. All the dims have to do is wait out the calender and they get a defacto tax hike without having to vote on it. Add to that all the tax rate hikes coming plus they still haven’t passed the budget for 2011. That was due, by law to be passed by last June. No telling what taxes are hidden in that.
The dim party is still in the majority until Jan 3. The dim party is run by marxists. The new taxes kick in on Jan 1. It will take new legislation by the repubs that will have to be signed off by obama in order to reduce or recind all the new taxes coming. But at the same time, this congress just passed into law a huge pile of new spending without the funding for it.
The dims just created an enormous political trap for the repubs. They had better tread carefully.

How were you able to post from Huffington Post? I have been blocked before while trying to post from them, so I took the option out of my Free Republic posting assistant.

How about the new Republican Congress? Do you think they will get those Bush tax cuts extended? Probably. The Democrats are trying to exclude the top bracket cuts. Make the issue about the Republicans wanting to protect the rich. Thats from a very old playbook, right? The Republicans are aware of that trap, and will work to give a blanket extension for all tax payers. In the end you will see the lower brackets given the permanent extension and the upper brackets given a temporary extension say two years.
Why two years? Because that will work in the Democrats favor for 2012. They will be able to once again say how the Republicans want to give tax cuts to the rich. Its a simple trap but the Republicans are stupid enough to fall for it. Just watch. 50/50 they actually fall for it. Boehner hes not all that bright you know.
Even with Democrats like yourself being so open about it? The trap that is? Sure. This little blog of yours wont make one difference on that. The media is already trying to set it up for Democrats. The messaging is already initiated. Look for the Republicans to make the same mistake the Democrats did after 2008 thinking the American people are on their side. No the American people despise both parties. Well, now that Republicans won back the House in 2010, they can once again be painted as the party for the rich, for the bankers, for big business, etc. With a Republican Speaker, it will make that task much easier for us. Losing the House has made me far more hopeful that Democrats can do well or at least much better, in 2012. There will be a lot of bumps along the way, but our chances have greatly improved.
Doubtful.
He’s not to be trusted.
And now, after the election, he will be moving KSM trial to NYC
They’re only Obama’s “tax cuts” if taxes are raised and then subsequently cut. This would be extending the Bush tax cuts.
I believe this is another trial balloon from the admin to gauge how upset the left-tards will become. They seem to do this on every big issue. Send out a trial balloon that they are changing direction something through media sources, and let it ride for a day or so.
Given how pissed the left seem to be over this, expect the admin to walk this back before the weekend. Fibbs will probably do it today during the press briefing.
One commenter said, “I didn’t think he’d be a progressive, but I didn’t expect him to be a conservative.” (referring to Obammy). Ahh, the delusion.
He knows with only a few weeks to 2011, any contention on legislation to extend will result, if only for a couple of weeks, the imposition of the old tax rates across the board and when we all see our take home pay cut we know who gets the credit.
It may be that he’s going to acquiesce on this so as to be able to stand firm against Obaminationcare changes. IF this report is even true in the first place, of course.
I was telling you folks that Obama had already decided to do that before the election but couldnt because the liberal/progressive base would have turned on him and refused to help get out the vote. So he played along with the ‘ No Tax Cuts for the Rich, Republicans holding middle class tax cuts hostage ‘ line. Obama doesnt want those taxes to go up now. It works much better for him politically if he looks like he is going along with Republicans.
The fun part is going to be watching the liberals complain about Obama. On MSNBC they are still talking about what a great win it would be to force Republicans to vote on taxes. Here in MD I am already telling liberals Obama sold them out again on taxes like on the public plan, that he never believed what he told them.
Rule 1 : Motivate your base to vote
Rule 2: Demotivate the other side
Rule 3: Never trust anyone in Washington.
I doubt it.
If the dollar stabilizes, how many Billion$ would $oro$ lose? He may have it shorted down to pennies???
Pray for America
ROFL
To the left it must still seem like Bush is president!
everything bambam does is political in nature to either A: destroy the country or B: to retain power to further the A agenda...
pisses off the base of either side in every 'decision' it makes...
I can't even read that stuff, it makes me homicidal.
