THE RISING TIDE OF RACISM IN AMERICA!
Hmmm. Nothing in the article about the thousands of graveyard provisionals that demoncrats can always count on...
And a Republican Governor?
Nope. Not this time.
Or the boxes of ballots that will be “found” in the trunk of a DemocRat election commissioner.
I think we can thank Ms. Hyphen Named Feminist Moderator and the patriots at the debate between Walsh and Bean for this victory. Ms. Feminazi’s refusal to say the pledge gave this race some publicity and likely pushed Walsh over the edge.
The Illinois electoral map is remarkable for the governor's race. Quinn (D) carried three counties (two of them narrowly). Brady (R) carried all the rest - must be dozens.
Dold is no prize but he is also no Kirk. That would be four and a half.
But a sort of Republican Senator.
Here is the Breakdown
Brady 99 Counties by 470,000 votes.
Quinn won Cook which is 40% of the State by 488,000 votes, 882,000 to 394,000 votes. The City of Chicago which is 20% of the State by 398,000 which was 518,000 to 120,000 votes.
St. Clair county by 1,400 votes and Alexander by about 120 votes.
“THE RISING TIDE OF RACISM IN AMERICA!”
The Republican Party originated in 1860; its first candidate for Prez was Abraham Lincoln. He ended slavery.
A century later, Republicans forced thru the Civil Rights Act bringing blacks into the modern age. They had to overcome filibusters by Democrats in Georgia and Arkansas.
Racism? It’s a wholly owned Democrat franchise!
-—”If Walsh picks this up, the Repubs will have picked up FOUR — Count’em — FOUR congressional seats in Illinois. I don’t think they have ever done that before in any of our lifetimes.”-—
Sadly, it is very likely that this lasts one election. The Democrats won the governorship and still have state control, including SOS. They will control redistricting, have the numbers to do it however they want, own the Governor’s office and SOS, and the judges.
They will redistrict Welsh’s seat easily, and likely Kinzinger, Hultgren, and possibly Roskam (depending on what they do with the Northeast of the district). It will be easy pickings, thanks to the concentrated Democrat vote in specific areas, like Cook County.
We will likely lose three seats right away in 2012. It could be 1-2 more, if we are unlucky. That’s the cold, hard truth.
Illinois Gov’s Race is yet ANOTHER we would have won, if not for the Libertarian vote.
Kinda sad, actually. I’m up to a couple of Dozen now, and that doesn’t include races below Governor.
Kirk announced today that he wants to join Susan Collin’s RINO crew.
Apologies to those who have already seen this RSZ post. It seems relevant to the topic at hand.

And Scott Lee Cohen (douchebag former Rat Lt Governor candidate who ran as an indie). We were all glad he popped on the scene turned out to have work out poorly.
Oh and most importantly massive fraud in Cook County. The rest of the state should secede.
>>Oh and most importantly massive fraud in Cook County. The rest of the state should secede.<<
It seems to me that this is true for most states. They are really two states in one - the large cities in the RAT column, while the rest of the state is Conservative. LA, TX, FL and even DE are really different entities, with little in common.
BTW, it amazes me that Iraq, with no record of free elections, can have more honest elections than we do. So long as there are no penalties for cheating, it will continue. I say if you cheat - and it is proven - the “election” is overturned.
Auh2orepublican and I would like to “redistrict” the states. ;-D And I live in Chicago so I’d be in the nasty Chicago/Milwaukee/Gary Indiana State.
Poor Illinois, it’s just one big nasty county illegitimately screwing the whole rest of the state.
Of the 3 other most rat counties in the state Brady won Rock Island and barley lost St. Clair (home of East St. Louis) and tiny (and 35% Black) Alexander home of Cairo where Twain called his beloved Mississippi “hateful”.
Brady could have done better in Will and Lake Counties though.
