Very true...I actually have video posted of it online when that happened one time last year. I live about 20 miles from KSC.

Seems most likely. One guy speculated that it was a secret spy satellite launch. If so, why launch in the daylight in sight of the shore?

Keep reading. I already back-pedaled.
The Navy senior brass are so feminized and leftized none of them would want to authorize the firing of an ICBM under any circustances. And they sure as heck are not gonna fire one to embarrass their man, Onada.
I see the media are buying into the contrail story. I guess they finally got their talking points from The Usurper-in-Chief.
I could see a crew—or crew members—wanting to launch an ICBM just to stick it up the Brass’ ass—so to speak. But there are so many fail safes in place that it would be hard to do.
At least that was my experience in 155 artillery battalion. We could fire nukes, but gun crews in the unit who were selected to fire those rounds underwent rigorous training. They had to be certified. Moreover, we did not keep nukes in our basic load. Special munitions people would bring them to us if we were to receive a nuclear mission.
Jet, exhaust, sunlight, wind, and temperature. All can make for one heck of an optical illusion. That is what I believe it was.
Thank you so much. Maybe the original helicopter photog did not get any of the original “shoot” of the whatever it was. Each video or still shows it already in full glory.
