I think the consensus is that whatever the department is that handles birth certificates only “issues” COLB (short form). What we need is to find out if the “long form equivalent” information exists, even is not issued. But I’ll certainly appreciate hearing about anything you find out (as will, I’m sure, many others here with an interest in the topic).

When my children needed birth certificates in the 80s in order to apply for a driver’s license they were given a computer generated certified copies similar to the Obama COLB.

However, my sister acquired a long form of our brother’s BC in 2005 from VitalCheck.com but it was a poor copy and cost her $25. He was born in 1923 so if records from 1923 are available, more recent documents should also be available.
The request for birth records should be for genealogy purposes, not proof of identity.

I’ll let you know what I find out in a few days.

Well said!
I like that terminology. Gullibles.

merriam-webster.com/dictionary Definition of GULLIBLE: easily duped or cheated

Very appropriate name for those who blindly follow Obama.

I’d love him to present his actual COLB to be officially verified rather than just putting a picture of it on the internet. I’m sure that would be a whole lot of fun.

Maybe MO would be the best place to work on a law requiring proof of eligibility to be submitted before placement on the primary or general election ballot. Sounds like the MO legislature shows some promise, especially under this guy’s leadership. Their AG doesn’t look very promising to me for an investigation of Pelosi though, because he’s shifty and too tied in to groups that seem to despise justice.

Anybody else have observations or perceptons about this?

We can forget about the flip flopping MO AG, Chris Koster.
He refused to file a lawsuit against Obamacare. It was MO Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder who had the stones to fight back.>>>

JEFFERSON CITY — Calling new health care regulations passed by Congress a violation of the U.S. and Missouri constitutions, Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder today filed a lawsuit seeking to overturn sections of the sweeping law that mandates individual health care insurance coverage.
Kinder and three Missouri plaintiffs — including a St. Louis woman — argue that the law raises health care costs, decreases their coverage, and places unconstitutional mandates on citizens.

The lawsuit was filed by Kinder in his official capacity as lieutenant governor, as well as his personal capacity as a citizen of the state. Kinder had originally planned to join the lawsuit filed in Florida by attorneys general in other states who are opposed to the federal law.

Kinder has said the lawsuit costs will be borne by private donations made to a non-profit corporation he set up. His spokesman, Gary McElyea, said Kinder plans to make the donors public unless they request anonymity. The list of donors has not yet been made public.

And it was the Missouri voters who, in August, passed the first state law that rejected Obamacare.>>>

ST. LOUIS • Missouri voters on Tuesday overwhelmingly rejected a federal mandate to purchase health insurance, rebuking President Barack Obama’s administration and giving Republicans their first political victory in a national campaign to overturn the controversial health care law passed by Congress in March.

“The citizens of the Show-Me State don’t want Washington involved in their health care decisions,” said Sen. Jane Cunningham, R-Chesterfield, one of the sponsors of the legislation that put Proposition C on the August ballot. She credited a grass-roots campaign involving Tea Party and patriot groups with building support for the anti-Washington proposition.

There is good reason to call Missouri the SHOW ME State.

I love Missouri’s gutsiness.

Sounds like MO wouldn’t be the best place to try to get an investigation. But if the legislature passed a bill requiring eligibility to be documented before a name could be placed on the ballot, would the governor sign it?

...MO is the “Show Me” state. Let them live up to their name!

Funny! Maybe someone needs to make a parody of THIS commercial? Like...

Again, many thanks. I know others besides me are interested in this. Maybe you should drop an email to the guy in the posted article with what you find, as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing it verified either. Never going to happen though. Not unless the laws are changed.

That would be fantastic! Very simple but effective in getting the point across!

Would there be enough votes to override a veto?

Oh no! A Believer!

Cue “I'm a Believer” by the Monkees

Then I saw Obama’s face, now I'm a believer
Not a trace of doubt in my mind.
I'm in love, I'm a believer!
I couldn't leave him if I tried.

I didn’t know the answer so I asked someone who is savvy in MO politics. He said that we’re three votes away from both house being able to have a veto proof majority. I think it’s the house that lacks them.
