Tom Foley Asks Susan Bysiewicz To Hold Off On Calling Election Results "Official"
Hartford Courant ^ | 11/4/10 | Christopher Keating

[Main part of article about ongoing count delete]

In another development, state Sen. Kevin Witkos - who works as a police supervisor in Canton - is calling for an investigation into the Election Day use of the Reverse 9-1-1 system in Bridgeport.

The system was used to call voters in order to tell them that the voting hours had been extended by two hours to 10 p.m., based on an order by a Superior Court judge after some polling places ran out of ballots.

...

"State law is very clear that reverse 9-1-1 is an emergency notification system only,'' Witkos said. "As a matter of fact, the law very clearly states that the system is to be used 'only in case of life-threatening emergencies.'

...

He added, "Since some people got the reverse 9-1-1 message and some did not, I have to ask if we are to assume that being notified about the extended voting hours rose to the level of a 'life threatening emergency' for residents of some parts of the city but not others. On its face, this is appalling.''

Dems used reverse 911 to call voters to let them know polls were open an additional 2 hours, BUT ONLY VOTERS IN CERTAIN AREAS WERE CALLED.

“In the last 24 hours alone, Bridgeport has revised downward the number of votes cast for Dan Malloy by over 3,500,’’ he [Foley campaign manager] continued. “

If true, that’s huge.

Clear violation of equal protection. I just moved to CT and this has made me decide I need to work with like-minded people to get a decent SecState and AG here.

No doubt the democrats pulled stunts like this across the nation.

If the GOP House doesn't address voter fraud as a number one priority they are fools.

And why do I have the sneaking suspicion only those voters in the most dem-leaning areas got the Reverse-911 heads-up to come and vote. This sounded like a taxpayer-paid, illegal, after-hours GOTV action to me.

Were the other polls throughout the state already closed, and were the Bridgeport officials looking to hold the resultant late votes in reserve “just in case?”

Those two questions should lead any investigation on this matter. Foley should NOT allow this to pass unless it’s thoroughly checked. Something stinks out loud on this one.

Witkos asked the state's top criminal prosecutor, Kevin Kane, and Attorney General Richard Blumenthal to investigate "the improper use of the state's emergency reverse 9-1-1 system'' on Tuesday.

Well, THAT doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Anybody willing to bet they weren’t white areas, in a city that’s 40% AA?

Dums seem to think voter fraud is fun and games.

It’s time to stop these practices. I think we need to go back to one day one vote. No more BS.

Yeah, but getting Blumenthal or anyone else to publicly ‘step in it’ for the RATs would only expose more corruption to the highest levels. Beck has proven what happens when you shine a spotlight on corruption. Eventually the RATS will be forced to flee.

This is part of our battle - to clean up elections.

I hope Foley will fight....probably expensive and futile...but, it looks like a lot of hanky panky with the votes took place. And, the SOS seems like a shady character.

Hey who said the election season is over. This may go on for weeks. Makes us look like a Banana Republic. Kind of appropriate.

This is part of our battle - to clean up elections.”

The voter rolls need to be quarantined & considered contaminated.

All voters need to re-register at the County Registrar of Voters, with only accountable county employees.

Registration needs to require at least 3 forms of ID, with at least 1 with a picture ID. All this ID is to be electronically photographed for the permanent records, & the employee who does the registration needs to sign the paperwork, also. Accountability is key.

County offices for re-registering can be held open on Saturdays & closed on Mondays so there is no extra costs to the county.

The rolls are faaaar too contaminated to purge/clean up.

Like food that is thought to contain E-Coli or something, we need to not use these voter records anymore.

No Felons

No Motor Voter registrations

No on line registrations

No ‘voter drives’ by ACORN or anyone else.

No illegals voting

No ‘students’ from other countries voting

EVERY election official who cannot/will not send out military ballots on time & accurately MUST be sent to jail for no less than 5 years, preferably 10 years.

Absentee voting ONLY when it cannot be avoided.

No voting by those who are in a retirement home & cannot feed themselves, dress themselves, write a letter, or pay their own bills. Too many of those ballots are being filled out by ‘the staff’ & an incompetant person should not be voting.

All of this needs to be demanded by EVERY Governor & it needs to happen in the next 20 months. Before August 31, 2012, all the voter rolls need to be more accurate.

PERIOD NO EXCUSES

This plus the whole “ran out of ballots” issue is pretty squirrely, to quote a famous politician.

The “ran out of ballots” can mean that ten thousand ballots or so were diverted to a ballot factory filled with busy #2 pencils.

Here's a town by town record. You'll notice the big cities lean heavily democratic. Most other areas are quite republican. Trouble is the cities out populate us.
