FOX6 News has learned the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has shut down the project to build a high-speed rail line between Milwaukee and Madison. The DOT issued an e-mail to all contractors working on the high-speed rail project not to proceed any further.

This is outstanding. Local paper in NE Wisconsin reported that Governor-elect Walker was in discussions with lawyers on what could be done to undo this ridiculous plan.
