[history]
In a memoir due out Tuesday, Bush makes clear that he personally approved the use of that coercive technique against alleged Sept. 11 plotter Khalid Sheik Mohammed, an admission the human rights experts say could one day have legal consequences for him.

Where was this spunky attitude during his presidency? Nowhere to be found, for the most part (other than right after 9/11). We needed more of this Bush in those 8 years.

We should stop the waterboarding and start the bombing. They can’t commit acts of terror if they are dead.

Yeah, but does he say who outed Valerie Plame. We already know that it was Richard Armitage who "outed" Valerie Plame (that is -- if you don't consider the spread she did in Vogue as constituting outing herself), so there is really no point in Bush addressing the Plame issue.

still amazing to me that Jack Nicholson’s character was portrayed as the villain in that movie. He’s a hero!

Consider me also a pulling guard running ferocious downfield interference for al Qaeda-destroying President Bush, should the need arise.

So true. Over the period of 8 years, it was like we had 3 years of GHW Bush, 3 years of Juan McCain, 1 year 6 months of Kinky Rove and 6 months of W.

Valerie Plame was outed by her own kids on a social networking site.
“Yeah, my mom is a spy.”
Of course, all those postings have been scrubbed from the net.

It was the cover-up that did him in. That and not having the fortitude to stand up for his troops when they were arrested. But, yah, that speech was right on.

We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! Id rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. "EITHER way...I don't give a DAMN...WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE 'ENTITLED' to!!!"
