In a memoir due out Tuesday, Bush makes clear that he personally approved the use of that coercive technique against alleged Sept. 11 plotter Khalid Sheik Mohammed, an admission the human rights experts say could one day have legal consequences for him.

the position of Democraps, RINOs, and the world’s “human rights” farce is that if there were twenty nuclear warheads in twenty cities ready to go off, it would be immoral to waterboard one jihad scumbag to get info in time to head off the plot

millions could die, just so long as we don’t waterboard one KSM

it’s long past time to make it clear what the liberal position really is on terrorism and ‘interrogations’

A only one of tens of thousands of GIs who experienced waterboarding as part of military training, I support Mr. Bush. There is no injury involved. Waterboarding is meant to induce panic, and it does so very effectively and without injury or harm.

“Now they can all keep busy not talking about the Emperor’s $2B taxpayer-funded Indian extravaganza.”

Just think. If Obama did not take this single trip, this amount of money could put 20,000 young people through a 4 year college.

Which would have a greater benefit? Why are we so keen to outsource jobs to India anyway? What the h*ll are the Barraqqis thinking?

President Hillary Clinton may or may not have approved waterboarding - but only after carefully considering the feedbaack from focus groups consulted on the issue.

Yep, that is precisely their position.

But I strongly suspect that if a Democrat President approved those exact interrogation techniques against terrorists in the nuke scenario you outlined and it worked to foil the plot, he'd be hailed as a hero by the same bunch who are now pushing to prosecute Bush.

“Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be guarded by men with guns. Who’s gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Santiago and you curse the Marines. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that Santiago’s death, while tragic, probably saved lives. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don’t want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don’t talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.
We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use ‘em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I’d rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post.”

>> it’s long past time to make it clear what the liberal position really is on terrorism and ‘interrogations’

As always, rigid adherence to ideology is their way. The ideology is far more important than any human life or a million lives.
For example, they say violence is bad...and therefore, if anyone starts any, let ‘em! If someone tries to kill you, let ‘em! Fighting is BAD! No distinction for self-defense, or deciding who’s right and wrong in a dispute that escalates to violence.
They like to think of themselves as subtle and nuance-rich, but they’re primitive, concrete-for-brains people.

Forty years ago my school teachers used to indiscriminately punish both boys for fighting regardless of who was the aggressor. That kind of response is insane.

Osama bin Laden has stated he wants to kill 400 million Americans including 200 million children.

You get that Patty Murray? He doesn’t want to build day care centers!

Useful Idiots will kill Americans.
