The award for Most Enthusiastic Republican Activist of the 2010 cycle goes to... Daniel Patrick Head, of northern Virginia, who's support for Kieth Fimian in the 11th district stops only at the limitations of his kitchen pantry and underwear drawer.
At about 2:30 this morning I awoke to random flashing lights in front of my house. Living on a major street [in northern Virginia], I looked through my curtains to see a car pulled up to my yard and a bunch of people trying to remove my giant Fimian sign. Without much of a second thought, I was out of bed, and out my front door after those folks trying to abscond with my precious 4' x 8' sign. I was noticed about half way to their car as I was wearing only my boxers.I heard "Holy sh*t, he's coming out of his house!!!" as I ran. Looking like an enraged Incredible Hulk, I left towards the car and jump part way inside to wrestle my sign from the thieves. The screams from the car I will treasure for the rest of my life.

LOL! Sounds like something I would do. God bless him. Great story.
Great story but to be awoken by lights in the window? Wow. I never would have woken up to that. If my wife would have woken up, she would have woke me up but 100 percent chance I would not have woken up to lights in the window. Noises maybe.....lol.
Dem Vandals deserve no quarter. Keep your powder dry and aim straight. Take no prisoners.
Cars shouldn’t go out in public wearing only boxers.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Any form of soap product would probably have worked just as well. They wouldn’t have gone anywhere near that.
Spun aluminium 5 d-cell Maglite. Never go outside at night without it.
“I left towards the car and jump part way inside to wrestle my sign from the thieves.”
Sounds like Daniel Patrick gave them some Head to remember.
I was putting out signs for Herman Cain a few years back and others kept stealing them. So I carefully picked and bagged poison ivy and rubbed it all over the signs when I posted them. The beauty of poison ivy is that it does not degrade over time and does not easily wash off the signs.
I would have preferred to read: “Republican Candidate Ousts Boxer,” but this one’s still pretty cool!
Nice! I’ll file that away for future reference.
If anyone`s interested,I have a recipe for oil of poison ivy, simple to make and fairly safe as long as done outside while wearing nitrile gloves and dust mask.Use washed out spaghetti jars for receptacles, wash thoroughly afterwards and dispose of everything that touches the product.Recipe: macerate ivy leaves with Goof-off solvent for about a week, then strain through coffee filters, and mix the green liquid with a cheap oil like corn.Allow to sit in a disposable bowl to evaporate the solvent and the resultant oily green liquid is concentrated extract of poison ivy in a oil base.Produce, store and use with extreme caution! This stuff is brutal if you`re careless!
