I didn't know 4Troops preformed at the ball game last night! (oops, did I give it away that I didn't watch?):)

I love it that they give back some of the proceedes....$0.50 from each sale by Sony Music Entertainment of this album in the U.S. will be donated to organizations that support veterans and their families. This donation will be split equally among The American Legion, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and the USO.

Oh, I forgot....I woke up to 2 inches of beautiful white snow this morning! Probably gonna melt, but it is beautiful!!

I sure am and I want to thank everyone here at the Canteen for all your thoughts and prayers the last few days.

We just finished the funeral for Chuck who BTW was a military veteran. (He served in the U.S. Navy during WW2 in the South Pacific and during the Korean War) There was a 21 gun salute and he was drapped in the American flag.

A person who know our family well (He was one of Mom's teachers) presided over the service.

We're in the process of returning to normal. My sister from the city is down here to take care of a few things.

It was rather windy during the funeral. The guys who firl the flags had a heck of a time with it at the graveside ceremony.
