We just finished the funeral for Chuck who BTW was a military veteran. (He served in the U.S. Navy during WW2 in the South Pacific and during the Korean War) There was a 21 gun salute and he was drapped in the American flag.
A person who know our family well (He was one of Mom's teachers) presided over the service.
We're in the process of returning to normal. My sister from the city is down here to take care of a few things.
It was rather windy during the funeral. The guys who firl the flags had a heck of a time with it at the graveside ceremony.
