I have met him and like his ideas, however I don’t vote for losertarians.

I really wish the Libertarian crowd would advertise their candidates on liberal forums instead of conservative ones. After all, if you are going to back a losing 3rd party campaign, may as well do some good and siphon off the hippie and peacenik voters from the Democratic party.

I don’t like many Libertarians, but I’ll take them over socialist DIABLOS. Besides, Labno is hardly a “typical” Libertarian, he is pro-life and pro-border security. But if you’d rather vote for a socialist than a Libertarian, have fun. Just don’t call yourslf a “conservative” when you’re supporting the likes of Mark Kirk.

I really wish the freepers who promote Mark Kirk on FR would read up on his record and get a clue who they’re supporting. This guy is to the left of Hillary on abortion and to the left of Obama on envirowackoism. He makes Arlen Specter and Dede Scozzafava look right wing.
Let’s be honest. Labino has NO chance to win, so every vote for him is a vote for Alexi. You can go get your group of 8 or 9 to come attack everyone who disagrees with this, but it’s true.

Normally I would agree with your sentiments - - third parties are strictly for losers.
But this election is entirely different. Kirk is a real scumbag - - a Jeffords/Specter/Chafee waiting to happen.
Do a little homework.
Kirk must lose. That’s the main thing.

How does that justify, at best, throwing your vote away on a candidate you know has no chance to win or, at worst, is actually helping a Democrat who is even WORSE than Kirk get elected?
You know full well Labno will only get something like 1% of the vote. That 1% would be doing more good voting for a candidate that may help take the Senate away from the far leftists whom currently control it.
Additionally, Kirk won the primary. Period. It is completely hypocritical to rail against "establishment" and "moderate" Republicans for not backing folks like COD when she won her primary, and then turn around and not back the moderate/RINO if he/she wins theirs. Our candidate selection needs to take place WITHIN the Republican party. There are rare exceptions such as Tancredo in Colorado, but 99% of the time we need to operate with the GOP structure.
Lastly, why would conservatives want to be voting for candidates from the Libertarian party anyway? Most conservatives simply aren't libertarian.

No matter who wins tomorrow Labno will still be the loser.

This libertarian has already voted for Kirk. This year is the first time in over 20 years I’ve voted a straight ticket.
Anyone voting for anyone but Kirk in this election is voting for Alexi. No amount of juvenile antics can mask that simple fact. I’ll repeat it. Anyone casting a vote for ANYONE but Kirk is voting for Alexi.

The thing is, we KNOW what Alexi is, a liberal and a crook who will soon be off to the Big House. Nobody runs around here saying how great a Conservative he is or how loyal a Republican he is, unlike you Kirkiebot groupies and tools who try to sell the great lie that he will somehow vote against a Socialist agenda he has supported for 10 years.
