Despite allegations of racism in Tea Party organizations, the Republican Party, and conservative groups, 2010 has witnessed more black Republican activism than ever before. Thirty-seven African Americans in 16 states have been in contention for seats in the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives this year.
Fox News reports, The Republican Party is hoping to put a record number of African Americans in Congress after Tuesdays election; despite the fact the first black president is highly unpopular within the party.

Uh, last time I checked, the dem party was mostly white, too.
This is fascinating. Just how many members does the Congressional Democrat Black Caucus have? Wouldn’t it simply be incredible if there were more in the Republican caucus?
Simply fascinating.
Darn...I was gonna post that gif...lol!
Yeah, and this corn is yellow............
A few days ago, some guy on here was claiming black conservatives had to “prove” themselves to Republicans. What a load of bs. We have great black conservative candidates, at least three of whom will win this time. Many of our best political commentators are black, Williams, Sowell, Elder. After this election we will have two Indian-American governors, two Hispanic govenors, an Hispanic senator, numerous black, Hispanic and Asian congressional representatives. I am pretty sure all of them will have been elected from majority white districts. How many minority Democratic officials get elected from majority white districts? Now, tell me, please, who are the racists?
Heh. I’d like to see what happens when someone calls Col. Allen West (running in FL-22) an Uncle Tom.
Heh.
CBC meetings are going to be very, very interesting
err..bi-radical.
Someone called him an Afro-cracker one night....That seems to cover all the PC incorrect/correct bases.
Tim Scott ping!
I suspect the modern usage is more influenced by W.E.B. DuBois (who not coincidentally was a Communist), who claimed that any acceptance of slavery or, more generally, black political inefficacy, was tantamount to betraying the race. By that logic, Tom’s Christianity and loyalty to his various masters allegedly indicate his and Stowe’s approval of slavery as an institution, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
But in any case, I agree with you: the DNC and its policies have done more to hurt blacks than a dozen Simon Legrees.
go speed racer go!
Amen! Bring in the talent.
It would be even more wonderful if black conservatives in Congress outnumber the current crop of black socialists in the CBC, and then vote to disband the organization!
I'd bet on West.
I respect the female and black conservative candidates so much. The stuff they have to deal with for their belief in conservatism is so disgusting.
9th Congressional District race growing tighter (Bergmann a tougher fight than Cohen anticipated)

Another dem ‘safe’ seat endangered by a black conservative FEMALE!

You are referring to his DNA, which is half and half. But he was raised in a white home by a white family, which makes him "mostly white, pretending to be black." The reason he went to Chicago was not to be a "community organizer," but to learn ebonics.
