But, but, but...David Axelrod
said that the Dems would retain control of both the House and the Senate. He wouldn't lie, would he???
(insert evil maniacal laugh track here...in honor of Halloween...)

You left out the best part:
Everybody that is tied will lose, and everyone that is ahead by a few points will lose because of the GOP wave, said one party media consultant who is involved in a wide array of House races. There are going to be some surprises.

MMMMMM, Barbecued Chicken for dinner with Mallomars for dessert. Sounds like an Election Day winner to me. LOL
BTW - If you’ve never had a Mallomar, you don’t know what you’re missing. Mallomars are on my “last meal before they execute me” list, right behind the In and Out Double Double and my Wife’s Lasagna.

Socialism always fails, always. True, it's inevitable. The trick, however, is keeping the body count as low as possible before it is finally destroyed.

Biden looks like he’s getting his neck wattle fattened up for Thanksgiving. Good to see he’s in the holiday spirit.

This insight is more telling than all the generic polls coming out.

theres nothing left to do but sit and wait for the expected horrors of Election Day to unfold.———
They should have thought of that when the calls were 900 to 1 not to do what they did. The horrors they put on the American citizenry is way smaller than the horrors they will see this election cycle, and the next several election cycles. WE HAVE ONLY BEGUN TO FIGHT

Prepare for “takeover.” It’s their favorite word on the rare occasions that we win. Do your drinking game then and you’ll really get ripped.

It sucks, said Dave Beattie, a Florida-based Democratic pollster who is working on a slate of competitive House races and who acknowledges that the lower congressional chamber is lost. Im resigned to the fact that it sucks. Socialism sucks worse, Dave.

OK, I’ll bite. What the heck is a Mallomar?(Texas native, never seen a Mallomar in the tores down here.) Should Election Night returns go as I hope and pray they do, I will celebrate by dragging friends out to a favorite hangout with good food, good drinks and a smoking section next Friday or Saturday.

I agree with you. Remember when Clinton testified and we were all told that he went ballistic and lost it and we were so enthused...until the truth came out that he had coolly lied and dissembled with comments like "It all depends on what the definition of "is" is!"
I will celebrate like hell when I know we have something to celebrate...not before.

While few will say so on the record for fear of alienating party officials"Party officials" must be like Alexander the Great, who vowed to kill whoever told him his favorite horse was dead. Hey, "party officials," the party's over.
