Thousands of empty seats for appeal by Obama, Biden for Dem votes

CLEVELAND -- The arena where President Obama and Vice President Biden are making their final appeal to Democrats to get out and vote in Tuesday's midterm elections was far from capacity Sunday afternoon.

The crowd estimate stands at 8,000 in the arena that seats just over 13,000 and a couple thousand empty seats are visible above the stage where Obama and Biden rallied supporters on stage.

The event is the final one in a series of "Moving America Forward" rallies aimed at ginning up enthusiasm with the party's largely deflated base ahead of Tuesday.

The president's final pitch to voters Sunday comes after hitting three states Saturday -- rallying Democrats in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and at an outdoor rally in Chicago on Saturday night.

Unfortunately, a sizable number of those empty seats plan to vote for Obama. Republicans ought to post volunteers with camera-phones at every voting place in the country so that someone can quickly and easily create a composite of all the vote-stealing or other violations of election laws are committed by Obama supporters this year.

If all we’d had were print news reports in the voter intimidation case, many might have been willing to dismiss it as a fabrication or exaggeration. But once they’ve seen reality with their own eyes, the public has a pretty common sense attitude about right and wrong and when legal or ethical boundaries have been crossed. Thus, having film evidence of polling-place violations would count ever so much more than dry blog posts about them.

No wonder, I signed up for “Organizing for America” email alerts before the election thru a secondary account to get intel on their movements in the Cleveland/Akron area.I recently received an offer for free tickets to this event if I RSVP-ed, I deleted it, but it is very telling and encouraging, as far as the election is concerned,that the Obama mania has faded to this extent.How very cool!

The majority of those in attendance were City of Cleveland and County of Cuyahoga employees, and those who are 4th Generation Welfare recipients, who were prompted to go by the Democrat Leaders (those not currently under indictment for racketeering and corruption chages who were the County Commissioners and other Democrat political leadership).
