(CNN) - A surprising new Senate poll in Delaware shows Republican Christine O'Donnell may be in striking distance of Democrat Chris Coons.
According to the new survey from Monmouth University, the surprise Republican nominee is only 10 points behind Coons, drawing 41 percent of the vote. In a previous Monmouth poll conducted two weeks ago, O'Donnell trailed by 19 points.
But the latest Monmouth survey differs substantially from two other recent polls, including a Farleigh Dickinson survey released Thursday that showed a 21-point advantage for Coons and a CNN/Time poll released earlier this month that indicated a 19-point lead for Coons.
The latest Monmouth poll surveyed 1,171 voters between October 25-27 and carries a sampling error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

If O’Donnell wins and Bawney Fwank loses,
this, indeed, will show that the country has turned.
Put in a radical Marxist as president, lefties, and you

We the People, the American Spirit of 1776.
Ten is where this race was with Rasmussen last week. I do think that the Farleigh Ridiculous poll was an outlier and that this is basically a 6-10 point race right now.
We'll see if O'Donnell can close the gap over the weekend. Anything is possible. If you look at some micro Congressional races, there's definitely a surge building.
On the House side, just about every race that's D+8 or lower is relatively competitive right now for the Republicans. They won't win the majority of the incumbent races over D+5, but you're looking at 55-75 seats in the House.
Accu-Weather: Dover, DE: November 2nd: rain and drizzle, 52 degrees
You said he’s not a traitor; he’s an establishment type. Well, I think that the establishment types ARE traitors, because they are more interested in their own power and looking out for their cronies than they are in upholding American principles of government. How is it not traitorous, for example, to be for open borders and amnesty?
That rain and drizzle should help keep the lines shorter than normal.
The whitehouse was hoping to tie Obama to a sure thing.
Obama:
“SOME, I guess, were afraid to run on the success of my policies. Senator Coons was not... and look where he is today.”
“Delaware you made a wise choice, and the rest of you better look out.”
That was the plan anyway.
Go Christine, GO!!!!
Amen and AMEN!
Please remove that picture. He’s a jinx.
This is O’Donnell’s tread.
If the weather is bad can the COD camp legally help some of her supporters get to the polls?

Karl looks like he has a goiter...
When the word 'traitor' is used to describe Karl Rove, especially by anyone who calls himself conservative, then it is rendered completely meaningless.
And at a time in history when we have a real traitor sitting in the Oval Office, calling Rove a "traitor" because of some ill-conceived words and variance in opinion might even be dangerous.
Karl Rove may be any number of things not liked by conservatives, but calling him a traitor is completely and utterly irresponsible.
You are absolutely correct.
I should have pinged you to my post #115 since you were the one being irresponsible with your hyperbolic abuse of the English language and the meaning of words.
Karl Rove is gay?
The Rats know she is going to win... Their are doing this to cover their credibility..
If there is sunshine, that is wonderful weather for being outside, won't keep anyone home. We hit 58 today and it was so nice. 58 with rain, that's another matter.
Better hope for something else to discourage them.
If our prayers are answered, and the average satan worshiping, pro abortion Delawarean stays at home, we may just pull it off.
Palin/Demint in that order sounds just fine, as long as Demint is on the bottom ;)
