As of 9:50 p.m. EDT, The Post & Email has just spoken with LCDR Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III, who was arrested today at his home on a charge of failure to appear at a hearing last Friday of which he claims he was not notified. Fitzpatrick is being held in the Monroe County detention facility.

It was an ambush, he said. I resisted them. They hit me pretty hard.
Just a hint for others, when you do exactly as the police officer tells you to, and do not even LOOK like you are thinking of resisting, you USUALLY don’t get “hit pretty hard.”
As far as the rest of it? Seems like a lot of one side of the incident and a lot of people are going to run wild with that one side.
Wanna give a little hint as to where Monroe county is?
appears to be Tennessee
It’s the red one on the map on the webpage.
This individual’s case only makes sense if you believe his predicate that the Monroe County, Tennesse, grand jury takes orders from President Obama. Maybe they do, or maybe this guy is nuts.
Fitzpatrick has claimed that the Monroe County Grand Jury is “rigged”(see link)

this guy is nuts.
Hard to tell from the information provided. I have seen the grand jury process corrupted for political vendettas, and question why anyone would have a permanent “jury foreman”, as alleged. Tennessee seems to be the home of lots of these alleged “abuse of police powers” stories popping up recently.
The Grand Jury doesn’t take its orders from Obama, The States Attorney and the Sheriff do.
Fitzpatrick has been shadowed for some time. There have been two deaths in the county of politicians who opposed the Dem status quo.
They want to get an excuse to shoot Fitzpatrick, and he almost gave them one.
This goes back some:

You were pretty fast to defend the State and the LEO’s involved.
OK, but a guy who storms the courthouse and tries to citizen’s arrest members of the grand jury ought to understand that he might suffer unpleasant consequences.
TN is a corrupt toilet and they are getting a real BIG mosque too.
I kind of like his kind of “nuts”.
He is challenging the entrenched power and combined might of the courts, lawyers, politicians, judges, and permanent employees in his State and County.
The thing is, this type of cabal exist in virtually every county in America. It stinks of power, it stinks of corruption. It is a system tolerated and supported by “law and order” conservatives. It is a system populated by the lowest form of life. Politicians, judges, lawyers, cops. Yup, I even lumped the cops in. Cops protect the lawyers, judges, politicians, permanent county employees, and do their bidding. Walk into any county courthouse in America. Soak in the feeling of darkness and corruption.
“You were pretty fast to defend the State and the LEOs involved.”
I am sure that there will be others along shortly to damn them sans evidence. I don’t care for that sort of thing.
Yeah, well the guy was ordered to jail by a special judge from Knoxville, not the Monroe County Sheriff or District Attorney. This same grand jury, by the way, just indicted the mayor and county Democrat Party chairman for corruption, which doesn’t really lend a whole lot of credence to the notion that they’re taking orders from Washington.

I am sure that you are damning the citizen sans evidence. I don’t care for that sort of thing.

I agree, I do not know enoughabout this as yiu do. I was thuinking of what happened with Tom DeLay, where dem Earle shopped 3 grand juries just to get an indictment returned.
Obviously Ketaucky has its own special version, as you say.
