DNC Requests Records Related to Palin, Romney, Seven Other Possible 2012 Contenders.
The Democratic National Committee formally has asked the Pentagon for reams of correspondence between military agencies and nine potential Republican presidential candidates, a clear indication that Democrats are building opposition-research files on specific 2012 contenders even before the midterm elections.
An internal Army e-mail obtained by ABC News indicates that the DNC has filed Freedom of Information Act requests for "any and all records of communication" between Army departments and agencies and each of the nine Republicans -- all of whom are widely mentioned as possible challengers to President Obama.
The agencies are asked to respond to the request by this Friday, just four days before Election Day...

Why would they have too? McCain's already proved in 2008 that he only fights the Right and takes a dive for the Left.
Community organizers have no paper trail.
The folks who have been Governors, or Constitutional officers in the line of succession, have records involving the National Guard (and other matters).
I wonder if they asked for Hillary’s records as a possible challenger...cause that’s what she is.
Those who have been representatives, or senators, or even county commissioners with a base or airport in the county have had “communications” with the pentagon.
Well, that, or they have not been doing their job.
Can’t tell whether this is a harassment of the republican candidates. Or the Pentagon staff who have to answer it.
Most likely both.
The Rats are looking for any senior officers that MIGHT be considered “friendly” to conservatives and be offering up information or that might be useful to conservatives. The Rats are also looking to root out and intimidate any flag officers that might be considering a run as a possible VP that might give the Presidential candidate more, dare I say it, GRAVITAS!!!
(The Rats are DEATHLY afraid of a Palin/Patraeus ticket.)
Exclusive: Citizens Ask Pentagon for Info on Terrorists Ties to Obama!
fixed it for you...
WHAT ??
Since when does the military have the
authority or obligation to release personal
information about any American citizen to
a political party?
FOUL!
Likely unconstitutional and unauthorized,
wouldn’t you think ?
From the Pentagon?
It’s hard to tell which is growing faster; 0bama’s enemies list or the national debt.
I wonder if this is done all the time?
KCVL asks a good question
did we do this for Obama in 06?
if so what information did we get?
Democrats have already started the 2012 election monkey business bookmark.
Remember the claim that Nixon used the CIA to his own purposes? The fascists in the White House are just as bad, if not worse. FYI: As someone who has followed the FOI trail on many occasions I can assure you that the government never gave a damn about when I wanted the material. I most cases I had to wait months. This request was sent with a time sensitive date for compliance, and you can rest assured that the Pentagon was aware that the weight of the President of the United States was behind the request.
This one really stinks to high heaven.
The ABC article says the Dems only asked for communication between any agency and the Repub person
which is extremely strange in and of itself
I wonder what other gov’t agency the DNC asked for similar records from?
“Can we file for the same on OBAMA?!”
You beat me...
HELL YAA!!
An internal Army e-mail obtained by ABC News indicates that the DNC has filed Freedom of Information Act requests for "any and all records of communication" between Army departments and agencies and each of the nine Republicans
So when can we get so much as a college application from Obastard?
